My novia is from Peru and lives in Lima. These women are not representative of the people I saw in Lima. My fiancee is much darker and darker hair and eyes. She is a very beautiful woman. I guess maybe 5 to 10 percent of Lima is blanca. Just a guess. If you ever visit Peru, you would know how far from representative these women are. I believe Latina women are beautiful and the countries should not look for only the European looking models.

arkactor, you need to go to other areas in Peru. These women on the video are Peruvian too. They come in all colors. The women on the video also have inca blood, just because they are lighter, it does not mean they don't have it. Spaniards, Italians, Portoguese, Arabs, Chinese, Africans, etc. migrated to Peru and what you see now is the product of all that. Peru is Inca and a mixture of all other backgrounds.

I have to agree with u there. It's not that I chose these girls cuz they are white or anything, but when u look for peruvian models, these are the kinda girls u find. I wanted to put a slideshow of peruvian models no matter their race, but almost all the agencies in Peru have only white girls. It should be nice to see girls from diff ethnicities in Peru.

If you can only find these type of models at these Eurocentrist model agencies, and apparently almost all of them are so, then you have just scratched the surface of the racial divide in Peru (& other S. I agree with him. I'm a peruvian woman and when you look at models who advertise products they are all light skinned European looking. I really wish most latin countries including Peru would represent their true latinas in the model agencies. Brown skin and black hair is beautiful!
