"One More Try" is a song recorded by Timothy Torres, known professionally as Timmy T. It hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart on March 23, 1991.The song was both written and produced by Torres, who was inspired to create the song after breaking up with a girlfriend. Torres had an arrest in july 16, 1997 where he was found unresponsive beside a deceased male prostitue which later turned out to be his lover. In 2001 Torres was working at a Wal-Mart store as a greeter.
