I love these scenes and the Mark-Juliet story generally. I personally relate to it most of all. Not so long ago I found being single very, very difficult and I was friends with a lot of couples. . I like its honesty. Mark's approach, ie coming across as quite cold, shows the awkwardness he feels as well as showing Love Actually isn't just a cheesy romcom. And Keira Knightley is so beautiful and elegant esp the scene in the video where she is on a night boat.

wiseguy952- I don't know why people have given you a thumbs down because its a reasonable point. Im in a similiar situation. I have a lot of female friends and ive no problem being social with girls. But I find it very difficult to know where to start with a relationship or even just something casual. Im paranoid about how girls would see my approach and im cautious about being seen as too forward. At uni, I found being single very hard, but it has its benefits too. I wish you luck;

The story is about 'Unspoken love' and, really, Mark haven't used his tongue to tell Juliet that he loved her!!! He just wrote his feelings for her on cards, which matches the theme.

Anyway, I feel really sad for Mark. He gave up his chance just for not ruining his best friend's love! Just a great friend...
