  • This guy sounds like borat. I love it!

  • Ouch!!! It sounded like a gun went off!

  • @Byautumnwise It's the table, the table pops down when pressure is applied

  • Glorified bback cracker did yout xray to see what was exactly wrong .or just do the usual force it till it cracks.

  • 1:07 dat assssss

  • nice touching doc ...and nice butt i want to learn how i can be a doctor of ur way

to do this thing 4 women :D

  • blah blah blah... look at this nice piece of chilean ass....yak yak yak.....only in chile do asses come this viluptuous

  • why do you grab her ass each time?

  • that wasloud

  • I'm ashamed they put chiropractic in the same sentence as physical therapy. If your trying to just stretch the joint capsule then why are you putting the thrust at the end? chiropractors think they know it all

  • He grabs her ass lol

  • Chiropraxia is a profession in health training independet College.

chiropractic is not physical therapy in Latin América

  • @HMatchProductions If your opinion can be enunciated in educated and calibrated words beyond pejorative terms, I will gladly read it.

  • Is there any way to perform the foward hip adjustment shown in this video without a second person?

  • he was not GRABBING her butt he place his hands several times in her hip bones wich half is under the waist line...and he place his hand flat ...u get sued if u grab squeeze and massage...so lets not be ridiculous here... i agree that if the girl is in the video and its not screaming for help she was in AGREEMENT for the demostration..who knows could be his daughter helping her dad promote a service and u guys are going thunder on law rules...focus here is about the healing

  • Of course the focus is on healing, I simply pointed out, quite respectfully I would like to add, that you could get sued for it. Imagine if he was examining her shoulder and happened to grab her breast? Would that be implied consent? Or examining the adductor muscle group and happened to casually place his hand on her vagina, implied consent? No, of course not, I stand by that during an objective examination I would avoid such a situation by asking for consent. If he does not then fair enough!

  • oh that was the labrum tearing

  • I am a humble undergrad physiotherapy and cannot comment of the controversy of chriopractic practice. However, I have been trained and have experience of correct interaction and professional handling of a patient, and the therapist in the clip did not ask for concent once, and had what I would call innapropriate touching/handling, you could easily get sued for placing you hands on a female patients buttocks like that without there being a relevant clinical reason and asking for concent first.

  • Its in Chile dipshit. They dont care about women there.

  • Yes that is obviously a very educated comment and I bow in the face of your mind numbing brilliance. . Now please do me the slightest favor and realize that even in Chile, dipshit, are there laws against this as "chiropractor" is, amazingly enough, a protected term.

  • Dude, your a fucking youtube brainiac. No one cares if you can copy and paste information. Concent?? Concent of what, grabbing her ass?? I think she consented just by being in the video smartass.

  • For fucks sake I was making an observation and you went and had to be a dick about it. What the hell do I need to copy and paste?? I am a 3rd year physio sudent, this is what I do! You THINK she consented by being in the video?? Fuck your desperately uneducated retarded opinion as you so clearly have no clue of what you are talking about. No offence of course.

  • I had a pretty serious issue with my 1st rib which I spent a boatload of money on at a physio, and while I was given a variety of corrective exercises and stretches (which I could have easily found on the internet or a weightlifting book),which were in the long-run helpful, a chiropractic adjustment brought me immediate albeit shorter-term relief. As a "medical consumer" and not a practitioner, I can see the value in both fields and rather than talk shit on one I appreciate both for their value.

  • vnillagorilla65, you hit the nail on the head. "implied consent " is exhibited by the patient when submitting to the examination and care of her spine, etc.

  • Adavidson, 1. There is no "controversy" regarding chiropractic care. Chiropractic is a wholly accepted mainstream health care system. 2. The "therapist in the clip" actually is a doctor. 3. The good chiropractic doctor is performing adjustive techniques on a patient who came to him for a "relevent clinical reason" with implied "consent". Palpating about the region of the buttocks is germane to all primary health care professions. Nontheless, your subliminal envy of chiropractic is appreciated.

  • Just like there is no controversy regarding homeopathic care? Or acupuncture? The chiropractic health-care system has failed to meet the most fundamental standards applied to medical practices: to clearly define itself and to establish a science-based scope of practice. More disturbing is the fact that chiropractic has made no contribution to the worldwide body of knowledge shared by the health sciences and continues to isolate itself from the mainstream of the health-care community.

  • I will apologize for the wrong title, of course he is a doctor, as it is stated in the video description.

I can assure you that if I were to grab a woman like that on my clinical placement and justify it by claiming "she came to me for a relevant clinical reason, and therefore there was implied concent", My mentor would not be very happy. Post hoc ergo promter hoc?

Nonetheless, if your "implied" attitude towards my subliminal opinions makes you tingle there is nothing wrong with that=)

  • I've struggle with many issues with my body and the major frustration I've felt is a practitioner of one type of medicine pushing their brand as a panacea. I've used acupuncture, massage, prolotherapy, physio visits, chiropractic adjustments, and although all have worked to varying levels for me, I can appreciate the benefit that each offers.the problem with you is that your probably think your field is the be all and end all for physical issues

  • No i dont. My personal opinion has no value, and neither does your. Anecdotal stories cannot be used for anything other than perhaps initiating the need for further research. It doesnt matter what I believe, think of feel, its what we can prove after double/triple blinded randomly allocated clinical controlled, trials. That is why evidence based practice is important, if you cant prove that you can do what you claim to do you and are not sure of the results then you are experimenting on people.

  • And I resent the notion that I "probably think my field is the be all and end" to all physical issues! I am part of a multi disciplinary team consisting of health care professionals from many different areas of expertise. That is how a proper health system works, being able to incorporate the different aspects of science and medicine with a full and holistic approach of the patient. Occupational health care, physio or podiatry, nurses, doctors, surgeons, even family, carers etc.

  • lmao wtf

  • exercise and yoga is way better than popping joints which just release hormones that make you think it feels better for 10 seconds

  • Then yoga and exercise youself till you had enough of the pain and dysfunction, then see the chiropractic doctor?

  • I agree totally. I don't think chiropractic adjustments alone are enough to solve alot of issues, but they often offer immediate relief which can help the patient get onto to using corrective exercises and stretches, whatever, to fixing the issue long term. It sucks when you are in pain.

  • holy piss. that sounded like a gunshot

  • You have that burden when you claim to have the means to cure or treat a pathology, impairment or dysfunction. Who does decide ? YOU!! When you make the decision of embracing an specific praxis, ( Adjustment philosophy ).

In terms of funding a research program, again the basic duty starts at home, do your homework before clinging to pseudo science, and consistently commit to seeking Evidence to support your claims.

  • I very much agree with you kinetron81, the patient had pain, increased synovial fluid, limitation of joint motion, functional impotence, claudication. Now has no pain, no joint swelling, her joint range is its normal, the function is recovered to the point that now is competing, he has not had more symptoms in two years. Who decides who got better, you decide, surely the evidence will show you that it was not surgery, she was never receipt surgery, nor infiltration she was never infiltrated.

  • @quiropracticochile What's to say she wouldn't have gotten better if you just left her. Our bodies repair themselves all the time.

  • @kinetron81 you are entirely wrong. the chiropractor, or anyone else, quack medical practitioner, etc. has no burden of proof. aside from that, who gets to decide what constitutes valid proof? you? you aren't qualified. the bottom line is that each individual, no matter what "proof" that is offered, will decide for themselves. most medicine is quackery. fraudulent premise, fraudulent research, and to back it all up, it is an abysmal failure at getting sick well. i consider these sufficient proof

  • Whenever there is paucity in the solid presentation of evidence it becomes the burden of those proponents of alternative /unequivocal / or singular interventions to provide with solid peer reviewed ramdomized clinical trials with double blind formulation so they can scape the primitive labels of quackery.

  • who decides we have that burden? lol. and mores the point, who funds it?

  • @kinetron91 Did you want to put that in terms everyone can understand, or were you trying to impress us? I have a fluent vocabulary, too, but I'm not a douchebag with it.

  • @HMachProductions The burden of proof always will fall on those who have a desire to ascertain categorically a point of view, an opinion to justify their endeavors and transform their opinion into a valid scientific construct. I will further illustrate my point with but a few recent studies.

  • @kinetron91 Basically, you're saying that for someone to prove their opinion, they have to back it up with concrete evidence. That's all you have to say. And if you want superfluous, unnecessary diction, then I propose that you look for a site that would be more fitting to your obviously superior intellect in lieu of this digital collaboration of feeble minded fuck-ups that bring the world such a vast amount of information reflecting upon all of its corners. Try 4Chan.

  • @HMachProductions Please read " An epidemiological examination of the subluxation construct using Hill's criteria of causation" Chiropractic and Osteopathy 2009.

  • @HMachProductions Then read "Science based medicine: The end of chiropractic"

  • @HMachProductions And finish reading "Chiropractic a critical evaluation" Journal of Pain and Symptom management.

  • @kinetron91 I don't have an opinion whether or not chiropractic care works, I've never used it and probably never will. I was just saying that your pompous diction is to the point where you seem to be, and I'm quoting here, "get[ting] upon stilts."

  • @HMachProductions The entire posting thread has been on the paucity of evidence and the burden of proof on Chiropractic care. Not on perceptions of diction,... That is were "nonsense upon stilts" comes to full light.

  • @kinetron91 I understand that, but all I was trying to say was that your word choice is painful to look at in your earlier comments. If you want to sway minds, connect with people. You can't connect if they can't understand you.

  • @HMachProductions I will leave the sales pitch to those who may have an interest on it. (no pun intended). The core of the matter remains the same, if there is evidence that supports the claims, it is not published, there is no DB RCT in any reputable peer reviewed journal. "Since the inception of the vertebral subluxation concept" wrongfully named theory, there is no more than anecdotal, opinionated or authoritarian articles (> 100 years of it).

  • @kinetron91 You have convinced me that there is no evidence (at least none published) supporting chiropractic practices.

  • @HMachProductions When finished reading, share your refutal in a constructive tone, using equally solid evidence to support your dialectics.

  • @kinetron91 I just said th- What? Have you just been typing and not listening to me?

  • hospital scrubs are loose fitting and well ventilated! you think static and dynamic stretches were all that were needed. thats you and your opinion and you didnt see that patient so how are you fit to say?

  • you could become an hero instead.

  • Hi dr.Lopes, can you send me some chiro.techinks,i wanna learn some of them.I study physical therapy and wanna study chiropractic after. If you want to send me some videos or just manual on the paper my e-mail is kovdim3@verat,net.Thank you and all the best

  • Como paises de tercer mundo ...y sus mujeres bellísimas, Mil Gracias!!

Just kidding i dont speak spanish

  • thats nice... im chilean too, dealing with lots of pan actually, that might help...

  • This patient was in Physical Therapy previous our intervention. His professional used ultrasound, TENS, miofascial release, and static stretching without succes before to decide the surgery.

When the capsule and the surrounding soft tissues of a joint not respond to the stretching to correct a joint restriction, only the High Velocity Low Amplitud technique can get to the paraphysiologic articular space, with this you reach the maximal motion in a joint eliminating the joint restriction.

  • hey doc, i have a hip flexor limitation in my right hip, weak hip adductors on my right side, weak overall external rotation on my right side, and for some reason weak right ankle... but overall leg length is equal on both sides... what do you think the problem is and how can it be solved?

  • Please visit a MD neurologist to despite other diagnosis. The weakness in the muscles always requires to assess other causes before to explain the joint retriction. How old are you? Man o woman? do exist a fall history? Pain? normal or abnormal muscle reflexes? Please get a interview with a neurologist before to complete your clinical study, is not possible to help you without a complete examination, David Lopez DC PT

  • $45 is a steal. Go to your orthopedist and get referred - see where that gets you in 5 days (healthwise and wallet).

  • nice job doc.

  • Nice technique...The girl is hot but y is he grabbing her ass ???

  • Whats the difference between drop system and regular adjustment.?

  • Whats the difference between drop system and regular.?

  • The drop system use the second Newton' law, that is, whe you do a little pressure over a joint, the body drop ant the surface in contact with your hand goes farest with the the locally applied pressure, this move the joint in the desired address and do the work of an adjustment, in summary is safe, fast and easy to obtain the same results than the normal or diversiffy adjustment technique, thanks for your question

  • @dabigman501 none I dont see any difference, you only hear the bam of the table but no result whatsoever, mind game, it is like between 4 t0 6 inchs the most of droping so is a kind loud noise think about if you are in pain or if you have some arthritis problem you might hav afracture bone for the impact

  • We are in the Clinic. This patient had a posterior femoral head and hip extension restriction. The first plain it was to do a little surgery to aliviate the anterior hip capsule.Instead this we realize Drop Adjustment Technique. After we continue with hip stabilization exercises and static stretching during two weeks. The next month the patient finish the treatment with full dynamic exercises and propioceptive activities in the pliometric station.

  • and that's what you pay $45 for? Chiros are criminals!

  • The patient had a posterior femoral head with hip retroversion. The offered treatment it was surgery in the anterior capsule. With five sesion of hip chiropractic and static stretching, finishing with dynamic training.

Never did surgery, today is champion in free dance (she is an ecellen student of proffesional dance. If you can aliviate so many persons without surgery this is a profession, not other, you decide
