I've watched on a few of these vids now and this dudes finering is wierd!! I would say very bad. Yeh, he can do the lick but very bad way to teach students. It will start bad habbits. Does anyone else notice this also???? Why isn't he using his pinky finger??? When you don't train your pinky you are seriously limiting your playing.

Thanks for checking out the videos, its a BLAST doing them. It's important to realize you can't cop the licks exactly--they gotta be tweaked a bit. Plus, you can't blaze through them at tempo all the time or this will make seem unplayable to most and defeat the purpose in trying to hip players to great licks from great players like Mr. Black Tooth Grin himself.
