  • Hey, I love your cover of this! Did you change the lyrics at one time at say still in ol' Muscle Shoals??

  • @domovision Haha.. I just sang the lyrics that my ex-brother-in-law taught me; "And I'm still, in a whole mess o' trouble"

  • Very simple, very pure. I love this.

  • Thank you!

  • Nice Job

  • Thank you!

  • Great Job! Know brag just fact, I knew Lowell George and he would have loved this version. I do my own version also, but I like yours better. I guess your brother in law deserves credit also for the arrangement. Real Good.

  • Hey, Thanks! I'm glad you think so. And I give most the credit to my ex-brother-in-law, Dave.. He was/is really good!

  • well done !

  • Thank you!

  • Excellent rendition!

  • Thank you so much!

  • good job!

  • It's no "We Got Corn," but thank you. :)

  • ah you should do that! write some chords LOL JKJK =P

  • Hmmm.. I just might... :)

  • I have to applaud you again kirke, every tune you do is so great :)

    I just love guitar,it annoys me that i can't play. Tried,but i admit defeat :(

  • I try not to upload the bad ones.. lol... And honestly, I wish I didn't have to play guitar, I'd rather just sing.. I feel like I can put so much more into my vocals when I don't have to worry about strumming & chord changes. :)

  • From a listeners side i like both & you seem to manage doing it with ease.

Hope you're considering the kirk musical pwnage...;)

  • Already working on it... but it might take a little longer than usual...

  • Ah! Yay! Thank you!

I do happen to be a Little Feat fan- good call. It's fantastic- and especially for never having heard the song. You can let your sister know her ex husband did at least one good thing in teaching you this song :)

  • I took a wild guess based on what I know of your musical taste. :)

Oh yeah, and my ex-brother-in-law was (is) a good guy, and a GREAT singer, my sister was the screw-up. :P

  • I wasn't a Little Feat fan, but that was cool.

  • I wasn't a Little Feat fan, either. :) Thank you.

  • thats good country man..

    5strs cowboy.. !! :)

  • Hee-haw! Thank you, partner! :)

  • nice one, hey, i trying a two or 3 guitar vid,

Gonna put one down doin chords, another vid of the fingerstylle/signiture lead etc,

drop the two vids together, same as 2 channel recording.. :)

    did u ever try that?

  • I don't really play well enough to play 2 guitar parts.. I struggle enough playing 1 part.. but I would like to do multiple vocal tracks. But I would probably use my old 4 track for that (if I can find cassettes) and run the audio over "making of" footage.

  • thats a cool song, i have guitar now tunin it, a mae of mine asked me to learn

Flogging Molly - If I leave this World Alive -

i gonna learnt his one too, and hey, i herd the orig, i prefer your faster version :)

  • I just went and searched it myself... (I've give the credit where it is due) David G.'s (my X-B-I-L's) version is a little bit better in my opinion, but then again, that is the way I've always heard it. :)

  • same thought, i do prefer the version ur throwin out, nicer guitar flicks, & it reminds me of another classic i cant think of right now,

i tried an unplugged of the canon d.

ah stop, i saw a vid with a million hits for it.. a minute long :O wtf? a minute of it,.. i can double that lol.. hey i must put up a song as a featured for my channel..
