Great Job! Know brag just fact, I knew Lowell George and he would have loved this version. I do my own version also, but I like yours better. I guess your brother in law deserves credit also for the arrangement. Real Good.
I try not to upload the bad ones.. lol... And honestly, I wish I didn't have to play guitar, I'd rather just sing.. I feel like I can put so much more into my vocals when I don't have to worry about strumming & chord changes. :)
I do happen to be a Little Feat fan- good call. It's fantastic- and especially for never having heard the song. You can let your sister know her ex husband did at least one good thing in teaching you this song :)
I don't really play well enough to play 2 guitar parts.. I struggle enough playing 1 part.. but I would like to do multiple vocal tracks. But I would probably use my old 4 track for that (if I can find cassettes) and run the audio over "making of" footage.
I just went and searched it myself... (I've give the credit where it is due) David G.'s (my X-B-I-L's) version is a little bit better in my opinion, but then again, that is the way I've always heard it. :)
same thought, i do prefer the version ur throwin out, nicer guitar flicks, & it reminds me of another classic i cant think of right now,
i tried an unplugged of the canon d.
ah stop, i saw a vid with a million hits for it.. a minute long :O wtf? a minute of it,.. i can double that lol.. hey i must put up a song as a featured for my channel..
Hey, I love your cover of this! Did you change the lyrics at one time at say still in ol' Muscle Shoals??

@domovision Haha.. I just sang the lyrics that my ex-brother-in-law taught me; "And I'm still, in a whole mess o' trouble"

Oh yeah, and my ex-brother-in-law was (is) a good guy, and a GREAT singer, my sister was the screw-up. :P
