They did issue a Tornado Emergency shortly after this on another Severe Weather Statement to the next Tornado Warning polygon they issued.

@raymondlee3327 It's all based on the 1050hz tone. It's just a small feature in a very expensive HAM radio

Heh, they still have microphones attached to those things. I thought it was just the stupid computer voices these days

@ZacharyLassiter They still do have those microphones attached to those computers to allow the meteorologists to take over if neccesary. Also, most (but not all) National Weather Service offices test the Weatheradio System live with a meteorologist reading a test script.
