I have a bowl of oatmeal with milk and some strawberry or apple jam and three pieces of bread (preferably whole grain) with butter and either ham/cheese/tomato or eggs (hard-boiled and sliced up) and caviar. And then a glass of orange juice and a glass of filmjölk (think it's called 'fermented milk' in english) which is good for your immune system and digestive system. It might sound like alot, but that depends on how your body works and how much energy you use in a day.
HEy thanks for the response sorry it's taken me so long to get back! I like fruit in the morning because it is fresh and makes me feel energized, but really you want 1 or 2 portions of healthy carbs to give your brain a boost. (whole grains, fruit) and a portion of protien. THanks :)
Yeah, carbs are a nice start to the day, and while apples are good (and of course I'm no pro, just speculating), I'd say citrus fruit might be even better in the morning as far as jump starting metabolism, no? I believe I've heard that citric acid and spicy food generate chemical heat to help kick up metabolism. So...just a thought. Oatmeal and oranges, or toast with honey and grapefruit sound like a plan?

anything with caffeine and actually, anything with carbs... your body needs the energy boost after 8 hours sleeping and no food!
Odd I know :) But true!
