  • One of the many things I love about this song is that the verses have keyboard and bass only- no guitar. (Vocals too, but I hear the vocals as primarily another musical instrument, aside from most of the linguistic/ lyrical content, though the lyrical content is also enjoyable.)

  • You forgot there are drums too....

  • @ds336

  • The bonus DVD disc contains alot of older material :) !!

  • That setlist is way too heavy on the new album.

  • I thought so too, but apparently the second DVD release will have a bonus disc with more of the older material on it. So better wait for the second (and third) release if you want that.

  • It's out September 14th in Norway and November 9th in all other countries, according to their website. :)

  • Enigmatic Calling is their best album. I hope they can make another one like that. Best prog metal band yet.

  • Love them !!!!

  • Can't wait for this dvd!

  • Wow - can't wait for this!

    Looks and sounds great.

  • holy shit I cant wait to get that dvd !"!!

  • Sick!! I'll buy it!!

  • MUST... GET... DVD!!! :D

  • OMFG!!!

  • Nice. Been waiting for this one for a while. Looks very good.

  • it sounds amazing! im a huge fan of pagan's mind! but the new guitarist Viggo does he compare to Thorstein?

i know the gods equation album had the new guitarist on it at the time and had a track dedicated to thornstein... but listening back from the first debut album and all the way upto gods equation, i hear a minor difference in guitar playing, its the same style but something is missing... its still GREAT work though! :-)

Flying through space and time - Rest In Peace Aaby Thornstein!

  • Jorn is awesome! I think they actually played together altho I could be wrong. Anyway, I got to see them live last year and it was one of the best shows I've been to. The setlist for the CD looks very similar to what they played. Enigmatic mission was pure bliss to hear live

  • Jørn has always been in the band, and Aaby Thornstein.

  • oh yeah... jorn lead aaby rhythm. :s sorry lol i just always got confused, who played in gods equation though?... theres only one guitarist listed on the band members- and who plays the rhythm live on this dvd?

  • come to think of it who plays lead!?!

  • Jorn plays guitar period.

  • Thornstein died a few years back.

  • Awesome, can't wait to see them at PPUSA!!

  • A little embarrassed to ask (I wasn't there...) but does anyone know / remember the set list of the concert? Was it mostly from God's Equation?

  • 1. The Conception 2. God's Equation 3. United Alliance 4. Atomic Firelight 5. The Prophecy Of Pleiades 6. Search For Life 7. Coming Home/Exploring Life 8. Hallo Spaceboy 9. Enigmatic Mission 10. Through Osiris' Eyes 11. Alien Kamikaze
  • Ah - thanks. :)

I'd have liked to see them play their older material live, but... Guess I shouldn't complain when there's a DVD coming out after all. :)

Besides; they'd probably have to have a three hour concert to make me 100% satisfied. :p

  • I was there, great concert as always. Had I known beforehand that they would be filming I would definetly place myself more in the middle then what I was ;P

  • YES! Finally!

  • HELL YEAH!!!!!!!!!! =)

  • amazing!
