Why does everyone find this movie so bad? I found it to be enjoyable, and i was compelled enough to actually give a crap about what was happenning on screen.
@chopperpilot5 they might as well have put this into a double episode of TNG ... the characters and the plot as a whole just wasn't interesting enough for most people ... obviously you don't agree and you're entitled to. It just didn't grab me and I imagine a lot of people can relate to that.
Personally, I think the music in Insurrection was Jerry Goldsmith's best soundtrack for Star Trek, ever. Some would say this would sound like the movie US Marshals, and it does because, Jerry also did the soundtrack for that movie, since both Insurrection and US Marshals were released in 1998.
Jerry Goldsmith created the sound of the Star Trek universe - in particularly the TNG series and movies. And this piece of music radiates awesome power, especially the final 20 seconds.
i know this sounds strange but this music would go perfectly with the evcation when everyone is entering the stargate in sgu the frist episode idk if anyone else would agree with me.
Jerry goldsmith should of used this for the shminitar. this music plays as mighty and powerful ships attack a lone vessel, daggering in and out of harms way.
Personally, I find this score boring, and I LIKE Goldsmith.
