  • This is good.

  • That has to be one of the most interesting and possibly disturbing things I've seen in a long time! Excellent job.

  • So what's the conclusion? Does it damage your chords or not?

  • Effects like Distortion, Grunt, Growl, Rattle etc. doesn't damage your vocal cords if done correctly, but they might if done incorrectly. Just as classical singing doesn't damage your vocal cords if done correctly, but it might if done incorrectly. :) Henrik

  • Go to 7:50, The speaker makes it clear that these techniques can be used safely (provided there is underlying support -- using the diaphragm and correct posture, good technique -- open throat, relaxed jaw and lips - and the effect is intentional) because other structures in the throat are used to produce the effects. The Tuvan throat singer was especially interesting -- you could see the whole throat cavity being employed!

  • it`s speled tHrash metal...ali this is cool, nut the way, very nice ;)

  • Thanks for you kind words and correction. I'll make sure to spell it right in the future :) Henrik

  • no problem, my man ;) i`m a musician also. i play guitar and bass, but my passion is singing...:)i also love rock & metal and i`m trying to sing that music :)...but i`m strugling with it, because i have very gentle and deep voice, and i can`t sing like my idols do (David Coverdale, Jeff Scott Soto etc...)

I wonder when you will come to Serbia (is that possible?? :) ), i will surely come to listen...
