This is a tune. Its why so many people love Bass guitar. I actually decided to switch to Bass from Piano, after hearing/watching this bass video!

Hey.

You are right, 70's and 80's funk music he is for me the style where the bass is not just a low guitar anymore.

I'm not an expert so my tips wont be the best...I would just say that you need a bass that fits to your needs.

Low cost squiers are a good start i think.

And if you are getting into it you will think about an expensive one.
