  • That makes sense because it just does not sound like it was written in 1938, its the theme I grew up with and I LOVE IT!!!

  • I heard the themes song was sung in 1966 the original run's didn't have a theme song it was done for the benifit of syndication.

  • Any idea who's singing the theme song? It definitely sounds like it could be Singleton & Lake themselves, especially when the guy does the Dagwood laugh near the end of the song

  • Very funny 50's TV. Try to transfer from a DVD or tape. The camera and interaction from a TV not too good.

  • When Aunt Polly sent Tom Sawyer out to white wash the fence he tricked some other little boys into thinking that it was so much fun that they paid him to whitewash the fence.

    This reminds me of that story.

  • I used to watch the on ch39 in Houston on friday nights back in the 70's-loved Arthur lake-he killed me, he was hilarious-Penny Singleton was the voice of Jane Jetson I think
