@Dudeonline riding with one foot is DEFIANTLY easier in my experience! I can do both, but it took me 2 weeks to walk on the tyre without falling everywhere, whereas it took me a few hours to one foot it :P
@HeroicPeanut the seat should be at a length to where your leg isnt extended ALL the way to reach the pedal, but pretty close so you can comfortably reach the pedal- similar to a bike. if you want to do alot of tricks then i'd suggest even lower than that.
Just my opinion, but i would like some feedback from other fellow unicyclists, riding the unicycle with only one foot is easier than wheelwalking right?
@Dudeonline123 you could do one foot wheel walking before two foot? i thought you meant pedaling with one foot... i find this easier than one foot pedaling
@lizzeswe He used the beginners unicycle for teaching purposes, which one should use as it encourages others to start on a beginners. and also when teaching, you should do things not as well as you can, but just enough so people get the understanding of it. If i were you, I would step off my high horse and appreciate the aspect of learning as opposed to judging the person teaching.
I've been unicycling for about 15 months now, I can wheel walk very far and slow (as you should do it). The man in the video has been unicycling for over 10 years and I do it much better, he does it pretty bad. And if he has been unicycling for over 10 years, shouldn't he have a better unicycle? He's got a beginners unicycle. He should probably have a freestyle unicycle, he doesn't look like a trials unicyclist of even anything near it.
Thank you served me well all their video, I could only see because I do not understand English, I translated it with google. Thank you. Sorry about my English if there is something wrong
Able to ride as long as you want, and turn easily. Then you just have to practice. It took me like 10 hours of straigt practice but now I can 1 foot Wheel walk and glide.
@beastinghiomg wheel walk definately. Lean just a little back from over your axle, and just set goals like 1 push 2 pushes 3 pushes, make sure you have one foot behind the other.... Eventually it will be easier trust me, it just seems like once you learn how to unicycle, the tricks that follow don't come very quick, it'll be worth it though.
@HondaRedRocket kk as in push u mean 1 foot or a rotation? like idk what i should like learn first as in any trick i can mount a few ways and ride forward so far
Well I took around maybe 3 weeks to get decent at it and I'm practicing getting back on the pedals now. I'd say you'd have to be confident with going forward and DEFINITELY know how to idle without a pole, I never used the pole and found it to be easier. Anyhoo, that's just my input.
you are one cocky mother fucker. you really think poeple read this comment and said wow that person must be good if he can do that. no. they think wow what a douch
thanks man, 7 years of unicycling and only just learned to wheelwalk
