Some people convert to Islam, some people are born muslim but never really think about it, some are born muslim and are 100% sure that this message is form the creator of the world himself.
Women wear hijab because Allah told them to do so and they see the Quran as authoritive. end of story.

Looking forward to the 'afterlife' is just a perfect way to ignore the problems of this world. The test of this life is to see if you can find a cure for the hundreds of varieties of cancer, or prevent birth defects, or find a way to live together without war and killing one another. In my opinion, the majority of religions place their 'faith' in the afterlife and flunk the real test. Any god worth worshipping would have pointed that out!!
