Not even close. He never fought the duchess, neither the dog...he was paralyzed in fear, and just watched the dead duchess INSIDE the grave, and got attack by the wanna-be dog, which was Dracula itself. Dracula never bit him, that's why he sent the letter afterwards. "his life is very precious to me..."
He felt the scent of Johnatan Harker's blood, and he wanted it at ANY costs.
Read the book. It`s way better than any movie or animation.
I thought this was pretty good. It could have used some additional narration in the middle with the wolf/dog attack and whatnot. This is a hard program to use for making a specific story... overall you did a good job maintaining continuity. I still haven't been able to get the lip sync feature to work.
mysterywalker, I agree about the program being somewhat difficult to use for telling specific stories. And the lip sync feature is a pretty crappy. Machinima will simply not get where it should be until a real tool with complete user control is available. Machinima is too much at the mercy of game engines.
I know. It's frustrating because you can see that all the technology is there to make a dedicated machima-making engine that would look great. But people keep coming out with things that are not quite that... like themovies, iClone, or moviestorm. I imagine someone with the technical savy will do it within a decade or so, though...
the horse walk animation looked very good, i noticed because i did such a bad horse walk cycle recently! :) was it part of themoviesgame or you added it?
this is really good screw the other comments like a lot of work has gone into this all they wanna say is i loved this video but dont want to say him:)
interesting work, i don't know why, but it made me feel like i was reading lovecraft, i think it be great if you made some movies on some of lovecraft's stuff.

It is close to the story.
"Draculas Guest" was a short story by BramStoker and it ended with the soldiers saving a man in a graveyard from a wolf, like this.
Same twist too, that it was Dracula who sent the soldiers to make sure he made it through safely.
Its supposed to be a prelude to the novel.

A commendable amount of work has clearly gone into this faithful treatment of Stoker's tale.
