When you go to kick start the bike regardless if it is in first gear or not, there is this thing it's called the clutch. It helps to use the ''clutch'' to prevent the bike from jumping on you.

its filled with air which u can adjust to hard or soft simply by leting air out or pumping air in with a bicycle pump... this bike is highly recommended by me. HIGHLY

a tip its not a problem that you cant ride but if its new you shouldnt go full gass all the time let te engine work in warm up and then go hard :P
