  • Is it simple to upgrade my stock '95 Z28 to perform this well? Actually it's got the K&N CAI but otherwise stock. Sounds like I just need stickier rubber (those rims are nice too ^^) and new springs and control arms. Any input would be appreciated.

  • @grenade350 your CAI, a catback exhaust system, lowering springs, wider wheels/tires, and you'll pretty much be there. 25hp for the ram air is being overly optimistic though

  • @camaroman101 Sweet, I'll be at that level soon with my '94 T/A. Just need to get my 17x9.5 front, 18x10.5 rear C5 Corvette rims. After that I'll be getting my port work done and most likely be making power figures in the high 300s or low 400s. =D

  • @camaroman101 thanks man, sounds simple enough

  • This was very rare for GM to allow their flagship Corvette to be upstaged..hence the limited production...what a car for the value

  • so they used the SS wheels from the Impalas.

  • @brobinson75 They were different than the Impala SS wheels...the Impala SS had a lip on the outside of the rim for wheel weights and had snap-on center caps...the Firehawk had no lip for wheel weights (had to have the weights glued on) and had screw-on center caps. They were Firehawk-only wheels. I owned 1994 Firehawk #200 (fully optioned except T-Tops) until I enlisted in the Air Force and couldn't afford to keep her.

  • Any idea on how much these go for nowadays?

  • @debrajl529

    Im guessing 7k for a 94 with 90k miles

  • Oh cool thanks.

  • Wow SLP, I used to make composite hoods for them.
