  • i like this terrorist movie

  • first when he said "i want a son ..and how do you do it...(shit that's very immature)..then he said taking the risk...i laughed my ass off

  • Poor sanborn :(

  • I cried.

  • Thumbs up if you came here from Sociopath World.

  • best war movie ever. so many deep messages

  • jaaaa....lo veo sin subtitulos y comprendo todo....me encanta esta peli.me la recomendo mi hijo.

  • such a badass movie because while every other war movie was about the bad side of war, this movie showed a person who was addicted to it and loved it

  • This scene represents the everyday soldier dilemma

  • What a touching scene. Very moving and powerful!

  • @ViresVeneratio War is not about meaning and emotion. It's about biology and kenetic physics.

  • this guy doesnt make any sense...

  • @BeezieMadden13 I know what you're thinking and no I don't think it's pee

  • Semper Fi till i die

  • What's the yellow stuff in the bottle

  • @ViresVeneratio some people below you are going to go in the military and im pretty sure they will

  • this shits deep i remember my cousin came back from afghan he use to say shit like this

  • Gotta say. The scene after this one, where we see the everyday at home for a soldier, was just as good as this one - if not better. I loved the cereal-problem, like that's the biggest problem back in the US. Such a good portrait - amazing movie. Deserved the oscar! :-)

  • No way.

  • to the producer guy in the comments, this isnt an anti-war film, its a movie about how war changes every man, and any man, you can either submit to it(get addicted) or reject it(obviously hate it) thats what this movie is all about, check out the war is a drug quote at the beginning, it says the plot from the beginning...some men love what they do and some men hate it

  • Waterloo was a real fight, this is just patrol.

  • is a of my best scenes ... my best scene is of Sniper's :D

  • @TheDeagle645 i like this scene because it represents more than the sniper scene...its where the characters come together

  • What's with all these boots?

  • Comment removed

  • Thumbs up for the best movie scene ever.

  • this movie is not anti war it just basically shows the heart and dedication of a specific soldier and why he likes doing what he does

  • There comes a time when you question if what you are doing 8000 miles from home really is worth your life. Soul searching. You think does it really matter. Are you going to get your legs, arms or nuts blown off. Who cares about what you are going through. You deep inside know it isn't going to matter to anyone but your family. You wonder if today or tomorrow is your last. You think of the discomfort your living in, the filth. Some can just blow it off. Others are haunted by it day after day.

  • @bamnibaum

Hi, you should write a screenplay. I really mean that. 'Cause what you said here, how you said it ... more eloquent and meaningful than Mark Boal (and whoever else is responsible for the script of The Hurt Locker) managed in many of the movie's scenes - this one included.

  • @bamnibaum HELL YEAH BRO, HELL YEAH!!

  • @bamnibaum I appreciate you leaving that comment, well put.

  • Why is everyone saying all this 'Proud to be in the armed forces' shit? Doesn't enyone get that this is an anti-war movie? It doesn't glorify war in any way, it's an insight into the mentality of soldier's and how much war screws them up.

  • @TheProducerPeople Your a straight up dumbass, I was in the airborne and we did some shit I didn't like... but that does NOT mean you can't be proud that you served... we don't try to "glorify" war. You are just a shithead who has no idea what they are talking about...

  • @JR21117 I'm not saying soldier's glorify war, I'm saying that people misinterpret this film massively, it's all about man's inhumanity to man and how war can damage a soldier's mentality, the isolation they feel after all they've been through, I know a lot of people that have served, and some of them are changed men, if you're gonna go on about being proud to be a member of the armed forces fine, but it's not appropiate when it's on a clip of a movie that is clearly an anti-war film.

  • Can someone tell me what the soundtrack in the back is and possibly link me to it?

    Thanks (:

  • I want a little boy....absolutely heartbreaking 8(

  • Its funny how people say like Semper Fi and shit on here when this movie is a "Army" movie. LOL FAIL Gfto marine kids

  • @Antix18 "SEMPER FI" "ALWAYS FAITHFULL" ANY WARRIOR CAN REALATE TO THAT

  • I find it amazing how people can protest this war, these wars. But in reality they're not the ones who are fighting it. They are not the one sacrificing their time and their limbs and lives.

I signed up to do exactly what we are doing in Afghanistan and Iraq. To assist and fight for a people that are not strong enough to fight for their freedom. I give them the strength and the assistance. And I wouldn't ask for anything else. I love my fucking job. All else can shut the fuck up.

  • @usindependent50 i couldn't agree more. I may be 14 but i understand some of whats going on. today is shitty with the news and everything else. because if you kill a someone its all of a sudden world news. thats why urban warfare is so fucked up these days. and people say why did we go to war??? then when we don't go to war they as why didn't we go to war?!? wtf people get you head out your ass and see what you are saying. i would say a lot more but i don't have enough characters remaining

  • @usindependent50 One the other hand, they're not gonna join up if they oppose it are they?

  • My cousin Cpl. William J. Woitowicz Passed died in Afghanistan A few days ago. Now im just more motivated to join up when Im 18. May he and every other Marine who gave their life Rest In Piece. Semper Fi.

  • Im pretty sure the best part of the movie is the whole movie

  • Time will tell whether our efforts were in vain. The Japanese respect us and we nuked them. The middle east may spring into democracies but the fight to keep it spiraling into chaos will require more than military force. We need to divest from Oil and the countries need to produce something other than oil.

  • "Why would a young man throw away his life to war, even for a few years, except that he was drafted perhaps? Either he was deceived by propaganda of financial gain, a misguided sense of honor, outdated nationalism, or

an exaggerated macho self-image?? Don't they realise that God didn't put them into this life to take that of others, but instead to create and

produce new life? Don't tell me they won't be held responsible. -- Lu Xian Sheng

  • @majesticmaniac

the only reason why a young man would go to war for their country is because someone has to protect OUR way of life

While you sit here complaining about politics someone has to protect OUR country. Everyone has a right to their own opinion in the US. But, inorder for all of us to have that right, soldiers, federal agents, state troopers, sheriffs, and local police departments ask our brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, sons and daughters to lay down their lives

  • @Kyrayn8581 Who/what is Threatening our way Of life?

  • @majesticmaniac They do it for everyone. Soldiers, federal agents, state troopers, sheriffs and local police departments ask our fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters to step into harms way and if necissary lay down their lives so people, such as you, have the right to be ignorant and ungreatful. Don't blame soldiers, question the people who sent our soldiers to such places!!!!

  • i also really liked the scene where Renner talks to his newborn child, about how there are about two things left to be excited about by the time you hit his age. I'm only 24, yet I'm feeling the truth in those words already

  • just reserved 89d today, confirm it with meps next thursday

  • simply loved it

  • fuck with the best, DIE LIKE THE REST!

  • this scene is poetry..................its honest and raw and sadly true,,,,and it will last the ages coz it doesnt try to pull any glam shit

  • @InTeNsIvE2344 you are a retard

  • For some reason Iraq seems more Messed up than Afghanistan.

  • idk why either...I just do

  • Renner's performance is so understated and calm. You can almost see him begin to talk about his own son, but it's his love of war, and the absence of a fear of death, that stop's him from giving any real advice. He knows exactly why he is the way he is, and that's what makes this scene so great.

  • Why are people talking about marines? They're army EOD.

  • La presa di coscienza di un uomo in guerra:......a chi importerà se morirai?

  • Anthony Mackie's best performance ever!

  • @robiejoe jeremy renner best performance ever

  • what happend to the black guy(no racist) after they had this sad long personal chat??

  • @Bulldog2702 specifying someone as 'the black guy' in this context is not racist. It's just like saying 'the white guy'. Felt I should just clarify this.

  • @Bulldog2702 lol its okay, he is black... i am too. theres no better way to describe him. but im not sure what happened next.

  • @Bulldog2702 He died

  • Much respect to all of our soldiers over there.

  • @unique0ladie nah some military personnel drink energy drinks stuff like that, reason it being in a bottle so it doesn't spill

so most likely it's some sort of energy enhancement juice, not piss.. lol

  • @unique0ladie that's a fucking juice..they could be in deep shit but still have sense of taste.

  • i like that actor Anthony Mackie, hes a good guy. he played the role very good.

  • @unique0ladie lolz, oasis probably

  • @unique0ladie its yellow gatorade....

  • @unique0ladie It's mountain dew...or beer...

  • @unique0ladie in america i seen alot of this drinks its some kind of energy drink which never works

  • Can watch this all day... Will is so much like me.

  • in USMC can foreigners join?

  • @cujytzu Have to be a legal U.S citizen

  • @chevygearhead454 Not technically, if you have your papers they can. same background check as everyone else.

  • This is an awesome scene. The wild cowboy music snaking along in the background, and him trying to respect his partner's feelings while at the same time wanting to scream "You know how I do it? BECAUSE I LOVE THIS SHIT!!!!!!"

  • @unique0ladie Probably tastes like it.

  • wow! a "best scene" video from a war movie that doesnt involve shooting!

  • @JukkaChannel im remarking upon the fact that most people think that in order to have a "best scene" from a war movie, there has to be shooting

  • i wanna c a movie on iraq similar to what apocalypse now, or plattoon were for vietnam....as in told the truth about those wars...and not made american soldiers look like heroes doing charity over thr....a wanna c the abu gharaibs and the mahmudiyah killings...a mean for fuck sake...they were the ones being invaded for no reason...they were the ones being victimised...they deserve the sympathies..before the soldiers get it...cos they signed to fight...the innocent civilians who died did not...

  • @majesticmaniac you know your right. its not their fault. but we arnt to blame. The soldiers are fight terror to protect our lives. and if the civilians their get killed its beacause you can't tell the difference. some are bombers some are civ. but if you want to watch a movie of OUR army getting guned down beacause of your appionion. be my guest.

  • @TheDisturbedslayer what r u talking about maan...iraq never had any terrorists before it was invaded...do you know that...it was invaded for oil...and to protect isreals ass...or so they thought, cos in my opinion isreal itself a neuclear power did not need any protection from a non neuclear iraq...so why invade it...thr was no alqaeda...thr was no taleban thr....so why did more that 400000 innocent civilians die overthr maan...think about that...it was an unfair and an unjustifiable crime.

  • @majesticmaniac Why? Why did 400000 innocent civilians die? Because, Saddam Hussein was an unjust and brutal dictator. We went in there because we thought they had nuclear warheads, but also to overthrow that bastard Hussein. Hussein was killing anyone who didn't like him.

  • @majesticmaniac lol, abu ghraib.... that wasnt torture... that was soldiers doing what they do, which includes bein assholes...Its not charity, but its not like were raping the land and stealing assets like the Chinese or Chechens do.

  • @conservativlysound...Well then i d love to c iraqies come to ur country, throw ur ass in jail, deprive u of sleep, and clothes... put u naked on a dogs leash and take photographs with you....or pass electricity thru ur hands and ur dick, and then make a naked pyramid of u, ur father ur brothers, and ur neighbours...wonder what that would come under, torture or soldiers just being assholes..

  • @majesticmaniac Lol, fat chance, considering everyone of them would take a shotgun or 45 blast to the face. As for the use of electrodes, Im incredibly doubtful that it occurred.

I still stand by the statement that they were just being assholes. Its only wrong from a morality standpoint, they werent being physically abused.

  • Some people...can't live in war,men go throug hthis everyday, seeing people die...its not easy.Others learn to live with it.and continue to fight, its not wrong for eevry man to hate doing so,to leave..or quit. Its human,no man deserves to die by conflict like this. Its not the way it should be...

  • I'm not a soldier, but I imagine every soldier has one or more of these moments.

  • the whole point of this scene is the bit where the kids throw the stones at them, who have no idea that the marines are in fact there to protect them. you should have included it.

  • for anybody who asks me why heres my deal and here is my reply i'll be a marine till the day i die (8)

  • @shuffonesote Good for you. I dont know if youve posted ay others, nor do I care.

  • @shuffonesote i won't ask you, I understand you. I'm not marine but it was honor to serve with U... take care soldier.

  • @shuffonesote Semper Fi!

  • @shuffonesote spoken like a true Marine. Semper Fi Devildog.

  • @shuffonesote OORAH! SEMPER FI!

  • @shuffonesote semper-fi till i die

  • @shuffonesote

"for anybody who asks me why" Ah, but why were the marines there? That's the real question, a question you don't simple answer by saying you stood shoulder to shoulder, a question not answered by honor, bravery or brotherhood. An question not answered by a simple command. Always remind yourself, the WHY doesn’t, in any way shape or form, defame the things you did, the things you stood for. Why is bigger than risking your life for a brother, although it is infinitely smaller.

  • @wimscheers well said

  • @shuffonesote hopefully one day i will as well

  • @shuffonesote they are in the army not the marines. we wear ACU and the marines wear woodland camouflage.

  • @dontwhine1

    Marines wear MARPAT soldier...

  • @shuffonesote funny you said that , because you were only 20 years old , wouldnt surprise me if you arent even a marine

  • @shuffonesote OOOO-RRAAA! SEMPER FI!

  • @shuffonesote yeah go kill em fucking hajis.

  • Whats the point in fighting over a movie. Drama starters,

  • Lol thats what i thought it does look like piss

  • best movie

  • the 11 dislike would be all the bombers who got their plans messed or bomb defused

  • @breakinsk8r Not funny faggot.. Go try get your thumbs up elsewhere loser

  • @Nebelwerfer89 agreed somethings aren't funny

  • 'here man, have a hit'.... of my bottle of piss! mwaahahahaha

  • All you people are forgetting there's a real enemy in this war. You all say it's the evil government thirsty for oil, they're actually fighting someone over there in the middle east. They're called the Taliban, and pulling troops back will only bring the Taliban back into power which will cause more death than if those troops had stayed. How many foreign lives is one soldier's worth to you? A soldier signs up for combat and he gets it. Those people being murdered by the Taliban didn't sign up...

  • @Arc9er. So you suppose we should stay there until every single person in the Taliban, and their family members are dead? Or in other words indefinitely?

  • @aceblazer25

Until every single person able to do anything in the taliban is dead. That means kill off the taliban leadership. If that's done, i'm sure it'll be weak enough for afghanistan to deal with.

  • @aceblazer25 the goal in afghanistan and iraq is to build a stable government that can support itself and take care of the taliban themselves. For example, the afghan army is so shitty that its soldiers just up and go awol. plus most of them don't take shit seriously and alot of times are high when there in combat.

  • @GrannyWhackers1217 u know shit. it is all a lie

  • @GrannyWhackers1217 why would they need a good army if we are there doing all the shit for them? if i had people doing my job, id prolly get high all the time too..

  • Why? Because America isn't a baby sitting service for the people of Afghanistan they need to learn to take care of their own country. the ANA (afghan national army) is improving and is working alongside soldiers and marines learning good shit. When the time comes, they wont need us anymore and will have everything under control.

  • @GrannyWhackers1217 and then theyll become corrupt like everything in the middle east and we'll be fight military trained ragheads no thanks

  • @GrannyWhackers1217

You mean the same way the US trained the Taliban?

  • @Gettinghitonattheban We trained the Muhajideen, the father organization to the Taliban, in an effort to help the U.S. fight the Chechens and Russians in the Cold War. The only reason we have issues with them now is because Congress didnt believe that we were responsible for adding some control to the chaos that was Post-Russian Afghanistan. IF we had followed the suggestions of Charlie Wilson, and built hospitals and schools and homes, we would not have them as an enemy today.

  • @Arc9er -.-

  • Fucking love this movie but its sad that our boys are over there dying for a cover up fucking oil rob

  • ...this is the shit that reminds me of the delicate art of gratefulness

  • Omg this makes me so mad. Those dirty politicians throwing our soldiers out there for political gain and shit, it makes me plain sick. Those poor soldiers are out there risking their lives for some illegal occupation all for corporate interests. Fuck you Bush and Obama, it's time to end this damn war and let our soldiers go back to their lives.

  • @Camtho agreed. 101%

  • @Camtho Dude Obama is pulling out of Iraq, I dont disagree with u but just sayin

  • @Snapplefact852

At the same time hes transporting us to afganistan.

Darnit obama THIS IS NOT THE TIME PEOPLE WILL HATE YOU MORE IF YOU DO!

  • @Camtho Say, instead of invading a country with women only covered up and abused by their own husbands, why we could've invaded a country with girls in bikinis?

  • @OmacOmac1 sounds good!

  • 11 guys need you to boost the audio

  • wow seriously for the people that were "let down" by the movie should think that not every war movie should be all bleak and pointless as lets say the expendables. I thought this movie was genious in its own special ways

  • @ZombryaTheDark WELL SAID!

  • @ZombryaTheDark true, and it was more true to what the actual soldiers might acctually be thinking and feel over there

  • From hearing him say, "Have a hit." I would guess it's alcohol but it looks like Gatorade. :P

  • i'd care. thumbs up if you would care to. to all our soldiers, may you come home safe and sounds with your mission fully accomplished.

  • @justforpoox

    what mission

  • @andyhuangit Yes, it's called PTSD.

  • What did he drink

  • @LtHotchkiss Piss...No! ...orange squash -.-

  • home made hooch

  • @friendlynice- really man fuck off if all your gonna do is speak like that

  • hurt locker is the best movie what i have ever seen

  • Easily the best scene in the movie. Anyone know the name of the track playing during its run? I've been searching like a mad man for it.

  • @burninator14 the track is called "The way I am", by Marco Beltrami, try original soundtrack of the movie

  • @AliceAndW The Last Scene..The Climax

  • wants that green stuff in the bottle

  • My Second favorite scene from Hurt Locker. Thanks for sharing. This will go into my Favorites List.

  • @cjnavaneet which scene from Hurt Locker is your first favorite?

  • I agree entirely. This is the best scene in The Hurt Locker, in fact, one of the best scenes in movies of 2008/2009. The hauntingly beautiful music just helps carry the flow of words between these two men scarred by war.

Anthony Mackie is absolutely riveting here. What a talent! Simply perfect.

  • @Friendlynice - You're a prick, war isn't nice, pretty or easy. You have a great chance of dieing.. If you think you would do better. Join the army, and go, see how fun it is, prick. Just so happens I will join the R.A.F

  • @Smics1000

well spoken man well spoken hopefully that guy will begin to understand.....ppl think they know how they would handle it all but no one does till theyre in it

  • Well said, Smics. "Friendly", go out there and then judge.

  • I cried this scene, Anthoney Mackie should get Oscar nominate fron this movie. He's also great along with Jeremy Ranner!

  • @Friendlynice

I have a feeling you'd be wining a bit too if you were out there risking your life 24/7 for your country in 100+ degree weather with full battle gear on and constant stress of being ambushed and not being allowed to fire first because we're "peacemakers"...

  • @Friendlynice LOL, dumbass.

  • @Friendlynice You've never been to war, have you?

  • @Friendlynice i agree your a failure man you fail at life you think its all fun and games like on your computer where your master cheff or some bull shit like that get your head out of your ass you have no fuckin clue what its like to lose a friend in this kind of bull shit i just wish wars could be fought by the ass holes who start them instead of sending are troops to solve there dick messureing contest

  • @superchairbed I'm sorry. Did I hurt your feelings? You want me to massage your clit?

  • @Friendlynice Cock sucker you have no fucking clue why dont you open your fucking eyes and actually see what its like

  • @BigBearSpaceAdmin LOL. The funny thing is I don't think you know what your talking about you fake war veteran wannabe. Did I make you mad :-(
