THAT wouldve been impressive for that thing. its just a overpriced station wagon.
i think he did very well for an SUV that is not intended to do this for once and he has at least more skill than the horrible landrover driver :)

The engineering includes running driveshafts through rather than around the undercarriage to give it outstanding ground clearance - you'll never confust this with your average US 4X4.

Both are British cars, the Sprite is a small, lightweight sportscar unveiled in 1958, really nice handling using nothing but good design and good engineering, a car from a time when British cars were some of the best in the world.
I like the Defender because of its great design that has lasted, basically unchanged for many years and its supreme off road performance.
I have one of these, the same colour and engine as the one in the video, I am in no way pretending that it is a proper off road machine, however it has driven through the snow we have had in the UK over xmas, and got me everywhere I need to be.
It has done this quietly, comfortably and done 35/40 mpg throughout, it has also done so whilst I have listened to my iPod through the standard input socket.
this video is dedicated to those that thinks that x3 is only for giving them to our wifes to go to the mall for shoping with our children.. as long as you have the right "hands" to drive it you can go everywhere!!! BMW for ever :)
i also have had an range rover and ok it's a excellent off-road veicle, but the nex model isnt better than the old..it's too heavy..the vogue is about 2.8 tons..it's too much for an off-road veicle..the range is also much tall than the x3..you'cant compare..try an x3 and then you can make a compare..(sorry 4 my english but i'm italian)..
Come on ! you obviously don´t know what offroad means. what this car tries to do on the video is not even close to offroading. come on the junk pile doesn´t even have a low ratio gearbox !. Dont get me wrong, i think they are nice cars, especially the X5, but they are worthless as offroaders !
well look it up and see im comparing cars of same class btw if you took x3's class youd have to think along the lines of Q5, GLK, and quasquai which im sprry to say are all way better than x3 offroad and in x5/6 class the cayenne and touareg for sure are better maybe youre right about q7 but my aunt has one and till now we never had any problems in snow nor sand while we've see 2 x5's stuck in sand

I enjoy shooting sports, and this car can take me everywhere I need to get to with no problems, but also get me home economically and in comfort.
I am a big fan of Land Rovers, and know that they are without rival Off-Road, but for Mr Average like me, the X3 is a great everyday car.
It is less of a 4x4 than most serious off-roaders want, but it is more of a 4x4 than I need, and this video shows that.

Well, there's a bunch of different wheels to choose from.
It's only got a single exhaust pipe. All the 3-litre version has twin. Maybe the 2.5i as well.
