@judderSIKK6 Probably the same reasons he was kicked from wildhearts. Ginger and such were afraid with Dannys drug abuse and complet non commitment to the band he would drag them down. Maby Danny just dragged his own band to nothing?

Actually he didn't throw his life away. He got a real life, and a family. Danny is a star, one of my husbands best mates, came to my wedding actually. He's sorted himself out and when it comes down to it, he doesn't need the gratification of people. Besides, other members were not as squeaky clean as they might try to come across - glass houses and all that jazz!

@gruntshunts123 Hey, I'm not saying drugs were not the main factor, just that he didn't throw his life away and that some other people had agendas and the drugs were a means to an end. There were other issues in the band too and subsequent friction. The last I heard, he is clean, happy, and purposefully staying away from the scene to stay away from temptation. He's done some work with the Chasers and the YoYos and is working on some stuff by himself.

@Bansidhe Hey, yeah, he's in South Shields and doing well. He's healthy, which from his friends and familys perspective is the most important thing. He's doing stuff for him now by the sounds of it, not just what was expected, and hopefully he can get back into things without people putting temptation in his way again.

Musically the wildhearts weren't a part of that at all, but that's not what their record company wanted, hence the struggle. and i don't know why you marked me down for that, since ginger wildheart said it himself. you indirectly blammed ginger, you realise that, right? anyway, i agree that they were too good to be lumped together and are in a class of their own. that doesnt change the fact thats what the record companies lumped them in with. still, ginger said it himself, so, you have no case.

turns out that the wildhearts had planned on a big step forward after every album, and P.H.U.Q was supposed to be this big double album. but in the end their record label dissaproved and tried to get them to be this Oasis/Blur type of band, and cut P.H.U.Q Into two albums with shorter songs (P.H.U.Q and Fishing For Luckies), and they got grouped into the britpop thing. so when they finally got their way and made a big step forward with Endless Nameless, everyone hated it, naturally.

This song was on the "endless nameless" album.Its unique because Danny sung and wrote it.The endless nameless album was an album was released and then they had one of their classic splits,only to reform with the near classic lineup of Ginger,Cj,Stidi(although ritch was gingers first choice an is current hearts sticksman)and jon poole (Danny was asked but bcos of his heroin problems,the idea was rejected.)Hope that clears it up.
