Ice princess us the older equivalent of this movie and they go in different directions ice princess is about a girl called casey and she loves physics and school and she finds out that there is more to life than school, Harvard and physics. So she decides to go and do her project to get the Harvard scholarship on ice skating and that is when she realises that she loves ice skating and that os when she goes after her dream and not her mums. When are you people going to learn that even if Ice Princess and Go Figure both involve a girl who loves to ice skate, it's not the same story line. One has to do with a girl who learns how to hockey skate and appreciate the sport while the other has to do with the girl working at her dreams while realizing that she's more into skating then her school.

I don't really agree, you know.....my figure skating friends may be better and more loyal or trustworthy than my school friends. They're always there and hold almost allmy secrets, without having spilled even a word about them. And they can always make me laugh and we can help eachother with our skating. Also, if i fall or mess up, i can vent to them and they will understand- something my other friends can't do cuz they don't skate. And Katelin SO can't do a triple axel.
