an elevator shaft is a great conduit for fire and pressure to flow from a jumbo jet hitting the building. We all saw the flames shoot from all sides of the building... and I assure you MORONS that the flames sought out every path with the least resisitence, ESPECIALLY elevator shafts. It could have anything from empty water bottles that boiled and exploded to computer bateries, these buildings were 110 stories and had room for twenty thousand people in each tower, there has got to be other alternatives to bombs, and if there was bombs, isnt there a possibilty that it could have been another group of terrorist that put them there?

Could have been anything. Makes sense. It probably was a mousetrap. OPEN YOUR EYES, MORON!!! An explosion 1 or 2 seconds before the plane hit. There's an eyewitness account of the basement of WTC7 destroyed by bombs also, and this was BEFORE the towers collapsed. Probably had some mousetraps over there too.
