Abortion isn't murder or anything like that. There's a period in which fetus can't be considered living beings, that's medical science. Before that, an abortion doesn't kill anything, because at that stage the fetus isn't a living being.

@TrAnCeLoVeR83 I've always felt conflicted about abortion. I think it should be available, but I also think it should be considered legalized murder. I agree with Paul about most of the other issues that are important to him, so I can fogive him of this one. After all, it's far easier to prevent a birth by avoiding becoming pregnant to begin with.

Had the big banks been allowed to go bankrupt, there wouldn't have been a financial meltdown, there would have been a financial crisis. There would have been an opportunity for medium size banks to purchase the assets of the failed institutions in a orderly fashion. Instead what we got was "Too Big to Fail" banks that are now even a bigger threat to our country.

I truly believe he is our last hope for this country, and I'm willing to put this one personal belief aside. He appeals to the rest of my libertarian views so fuck it I'm gonna vote for him. >_o

I agree with Paul about most of the other issues that are important to him, so I can fogive him of this one. After all, it's far easier to prevent a birth by avoiding becoming pregnant to begin with.

@futbolusa Deregulation is not a problem, provided you remove the protections that are built into the system. For example. Had the big banks been allowed to go bankrupt, there wouldn't have been a financial meltdown, there would have been a financial crisis. There would have been an opportunity for medium size banks to purchase the assets of the failed institutions in a orderly fashion. Instead what we got was "Too Big to Fail" banks that are now even a bigger threat to our country.

The dollar is going to fail sooner rather than later, unfortunatley the people that have to pay for it's downfall, will be the american people. Gold and silver have and always will be SAFE MONEY, however we need to get rid off the dollar first. my advice... Print enough money to pay off the debt then switch to a dollar backed by gold and tell the fed to take a hike! Reduce government and boost small biz

God's world is our world so if it is amoral, it is because we co-created it that way and He allowed it. I don't know exactly where Ron Paul stands on that issue, but he is clear about abortion. Using fetuses from miscarriages is one thing, but using them from abortions is quite another.

But surely you can envision the potential of a fetus mill being created which promotes the abortion of unborn children to feed the endless appetite of "curing" diseases or "prolonging" adult life. Such a utilitarian view of human life was once used to justify slavery in the sense that enslaving "unimportant" people was ok if their work was useful to "important" people.
