  • nice, i have the 525 ;) whatch my videos ;)

  • REALLY SHARP QUAD

  • what a peice of shit, these were rated the bottom of the ladder between KTM canam honda suzuki yamaha and kawisaki haha

  • @quadshow theres an ass in every crowd

  • love the ktm sitting in a bike with fox float shocks

  • its my favorite bike ever

  • bikes fuckin sweet...dont like the look of the headlight tho = (

  • @redRiderEx Yes, believe it or not the Polaris here, the KTM 450XC, and Kawasaki KFX450R all have reverse (the Suzuki LTR-450, Yamaha YFZ450 and Can-Am DS450 do not have this option). And you are right, none of them are all that cheap. However, check eBay, I think this bad boy goes for like $8,600 at the dealership, got it brand new from a dealer in Virginia for $5,400! There are deals like that on there all the time.

  • @SlimTwisted wierd...there starting to make the 450's trail quads? y else would there be a need for reverse...i think it j takes away from what the 450' are.....they should j make a 500 or 700 with reverse and leave the 450's for the track

  • @SlimTwisted yeah i just got one for 6,000 sweet bike

  • You pronounce Polaris as po-lare-iss

  • the bug or the alien lol witch one do u prefer

  • how do i pronounce polaris?

  • get the 525 and dominate everything

  • @dadivproductions

The 525 has a bit more torque and comes in two configurations: straight axle and independent rear suspension. It would be the wiser choice for the wide open conditions of the dunes while the 450 seems to work a bit better on the tighter confines of a motocross track or GNCC style XC course. Hope this helps!

  • 08 looks way better

  • which its better YAMAHA OR POLARIS???

  • Depends on who you ask really. I sampled the new YFZ450R and it was really a great ride. Maybe even slightly better out of the box than this Polaris (KTM) 450. But once I slapped a pipe on this Polaris, the performance was right up there with the YFZ. I personally like the little touches Polaris includes (hydraulic clutch, steel braided brake lines, reverse) and so on. But you could honestlt go out and win races on either quad.

  • @SlimTwisted yeah they are very nice quads.....but all that comes with a hefty price tag = (....wait these 450s have reverse?

  • bro i had 2 outlaws when they changed the way it looked i sold them great quads but if i was u i would go with yamaha yfz450r crazy ass quad or the raptor 700 is not bad suzuki ltr450 is good trx450r is a great one kawasaki is good it depends on u my friend

  • @RnRsYamaha i would say the polaris because of he KTM motor, but other than that they are the same but idk man thats what i think

  • I actually picked it up so late in the season (late August) that I was only able to get one race in before Western NY turned into a swamp. In fact the day I filmed this, I hit the track just as it started pouring! I've never been so muddy. You'll love your quad, handles like a dream. The only mod I had to perform was to pipe it. The stocker was a bit restricted and caused a lot of popping when over-revved. Once breathing right, this quad feels identical to the KTM 450 XC. It's a steal!

  • sick quad man, fucking sick, i love the new look of the outlaw! buying a 2011 next year. cant fucking wait. almost bought one this year. the 525 straight axle. ordered it and everything. then come to find out im now in college and had to pay for that. hows it handle? you race it?

  • High 5. noisey like a chainsaw I bet?

  • Actually not too bad, 92 decibels but this mill is a KTM single overhead cam 4-stroke so it really isn't too barky.

I've been saying this for a long time, but tune it for video of it in action complete with helmet cam shots real soon. It'll answer a lot of questions I've been receiving about this particular machine.

  • It's actually got one of the simplest reverse engagement systems I've ever used. You simply push a bar-mounted thumb-button and click the shifter down one (below first). There's a Reverse light on the little dash to let you know you're in. When you want to go forward, simply click it up one and you're back into first. Really a nice set up and a huge improvement to a few years back when getting into reverse on a sport quad required you to be a contortionist!
