uh no, too much scavenging would cause the valves to burn but modern engines are fuel injected so they would tune richer to compensate for the fuel loss

either way it's a lose-lose situation

im not sure what u mean by chopped and all that stuff cuz the cherry bomb is the muffler but if im thinking what your thinking as long as there is pipe with the same inlet u can buy a exhaust clamp or weld it to the existing pipe. it would probobly be extreamly loud and sound pretty cool unless its a 4 cylinder or a v6 motor

People say the muffler isn't loud but it's better than a glasspack because it has the built in vibrating plate, i love cherry bomb and i hope to get one with 3" inlets and 2.5" outlets, but im still deciding on flowmater or this baby. Oh and i have a dodge ram 1500 with a 318 motor too.

i agree with poolshark100 i put a 40 dollar thrush glass pack on my dodge 5.9L and it sounds sick its got the 2.5 inlet outlet also "if that helps at all???"
