Thanks for sharing it, Denise. There is not a point in this sermon excpert that does not apply to each of us in Christ to some degree...so there is convicting to be done in these words of Baxter's. It's a blessing to be convicted...and to know we are not alone in our battles with ourselves and others. But each of us who is truly in Christ is a member of the same body...and one member cannot say it does not need the other.

May we all pray daily to be more Christlike...and to pray for our brother's and sisters in Him with a heart of love, knowing that we ourselves have nothing good that was not given to us... that we can do nothing good apart from Him.
