  • Somebody should translate this vídeo to porguese! ^^

  • Man is spiritually dead, not sick. Dead men can't do anything. "No one can come to me(Jesus) unless the Father who sent me draws him..." John 6:44

  • Nope. You can't save yourself but must take your case to Jesus who can. Right, God saves you. Glad we could all concur on that.

  • @tiredoldcrow We don't all concur on that. What empirical evidence can you share that would support your claims that 1. someone needs saving. 2. that jesus is divine. ??

  • The idea that man must somehow "relent" to God in order to be saved is flawed at its core. Sure, man seeks God, but only because God sought the man first.

This would dictate that God attempts to save some, but fails. But scripture teaches us that God is perfect and can not fail.

No much more complicated than that.

  • The reason why it remains righteous judgment even though man is unable in his flesh to come to God, is because he still refuses Jesus Christ even when confronted and convicted by the Spirit through the preaching of God's word. Hence, he has opportunity by the enabling power of the Spirit through conviction with the word, but instead of humbling, he hardens his heart.

  • @Johnnytm21 So requesting evidence over faith is hardening one's heart? WOW!

  • @99minerkc ??? I don't follow. Also, to let you know, since this comment has been posted, my theology has been totally "reformed" : ). I embrace the doctrines of grace now, and love God more than ever : )

  • Mark 9:45 "And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:" Whosover that believes that only some are predestined, please, address if Mark 9:45 is directed towards the predestined of your view or the people that are not predestined in your view, or both.

  • The words total depravity should never be spoken. So much confusion. WE WOULD HAVE BEEN TOTALLY DEPRAVED if it were not for God seeking us(everybody).

    Luke 19:10

For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

Who is lost because of sin? ....????? Everyone. So God seeks everyone. end of story.

  • Jesus came to seek AND SAVE AND SAVE AND SAVE. AND SAVE that which was lost. God never fails in what he plans to do (Job 9:12). "You shall call his name Jesus and he WILL WILL WILL WILL save HIS PEOPLE from their sin".

  • Jesus came to and die for and actually save the elect.

  • @rayh3777 Why would you say that God seeks everyone for salvation when that is simply not true?He didn't seek, Pharaoh,Judas,Pilot or Herod, Just to name a few,the only thing that they were used for was God's glory,in showing His power to the world and to sacrifice His SON,which again, showed His GLORY TO THE WORLD! These were the pots that God had fitted for destruction Romans 9.

  • @CBALLEN What do you make of 2 Peter 3:9 then?

There is a sovereign will and a personal will of God. They are not always the same.

  • @SeraphsWitness Go to 1 Peter and you'll see he's talking to only Christians first of all. Then read 2 Peter 3:9 where it says God is being patient with you,us,us ward,it just depends on the translation. The US is believers or elect,God is holding Jesus back until all the ELECT are born in the future and when that happens,it's all over,Jesus is coming back.

  • @CBALLEN I'm confused. It's obviously a letter to Christians, but the passage is referring to everyone, is it not? It would be silly to say that God is willing that all Christians be saved... Christians are, by DEFINITION, saved. It's redundant and pointless. I have to conclude that he's making another point: that God's sovereign will is that everyone be saved, but that His personal will dictates that we may choose to disobey and go to hell.

  • @SeraphsWitness That should be Eph.1:4-12

  • @SeraphsWitness If God was patiently waiting for people that He knew from before time would not be saved, that would mean God is not too bright. Remember He chose His own before time.Eph 1 4:12

  • @CBALLEN I understand that, and I agree. I still don't see how it addresses my point.

  • @SeraphsWitness Peter is speaking about those God chose before time in every generation. John 6:44 opened my eye to reformed theology.

  • @CBALLEN Don't get me wrong, I'm a reform Christian. I'm just trying to clarify what you're saying.

I always believed there were different wills of God, sovereign and personal.

  • @SeraphsWitness Well he does have two wills in as much as HE commands man not to murder, but He used wicked men to murder Jesus.God ordains sin or it wouldn't exist.

  • @SeraphsWitness If you are a Christian,it is because you were chosen to come to Jesus by God,not everyone has the ability to come to Jesus, only those drawn by God.If God drew everyone then everyone would be saved,BECAUSE 100% of everyone drawn are saved and kept by Jesus.God's will is NOT to save everyone, only HIS ELECT.

  • @CBALLEN I know. I understand that, trust me. You don't need to keep reiterating that. I agree with you.

But can't God be willing that none should perish, yet also be willing for us to have free will?

  • @SeraphsWitness The thing is,if God wills everyone to be saved, they would be saved and everyone would go to Heaven.

  • @CBALLEN Not necessarily. You assume God's will is always done. I'm not sure that it is.

  • @SeraphsWitness Everywhere in the Bible where it speaks about God being all powerful it also says His will will be done,it's also in the Lord's prayer. There won't be one person in Hell that God has intended to save.

  • @SeraphsWitness God also causes every disaster in the world according to scripture, many so called christians deny this, but it says He does in AMOS. God caused Katrina , the earthquake in Haiti ECT.

  • @CBALLEN The meaning of human lives under the knowledge of God is exactly seek what is His will, and how to satisfy it, cause this is the only way we can save ourselves for a judgemt set out upon us by our own ancestors: Adam and Eve; you must agree with that, that's the first step to anything else in this issue; if God judges Earth, it's because of human sins; forgive me being so rough, there's no space in these boxes so I could explain it in details;

  • @SeraphsWitness How come you think you're reformed?

  • @CBALLEN Because I believe in TULIP. Because scripture teaches the concepts. I don't really know what you're trying to convince me of.

  • @SeraphsWitness The only thing I was questioning is why you believe God would not accomplish all His will, all the reformers I know believe God always accomplishes His will, that's the difference between Arminians and Calvinists.

  • @CBALLEN it's enough for one person to discover God's will for oneself, what is worth the living and sometimes endures all over a life; this is the real challange; only those who start the journey can comprehend every point of the road, being fed by hope, not by doubts; may you seek the Lord directly, not only try to understand, just ask him in;

  • @Figurate86 RIGHT. LOL

  • Thanks for posting these vids

  • I know that I was snatched from Hells jaws by Jesus.

  • @CBALLEN amen!

  • @CBALLEN you weren't snatched from a mythical play room's (hell)jaws by anything. LOL Nice little tale though. If you play your cards right you can likely scare the HELL out of young kids though with your story. Excellent method to control their lives for the ones too ignorant to see the BS in it all.

  • Everyone screams to have their free will, yet it is our free will that leads us to sin everytime.

  • I think towards the end he said romans 5, but I think he ment 8

  • This is a remarkably good introduction to TULIP. I am glad that you posted it on Youtube.
