This is another Doris Day song I like although I'm not much of a fan. Thanks for posting so many of her music videos. As a fan of my own favourite artists, I would at best collect as many as possible only the CDs. You are a real deal.

I bought "Duet" at a used record store over the weekend for just under a sawbuck and man was it an unexpectedly jazzy outing. "Close Your Eyes" was the first track on the A-side and it blew me away--I had no idea Doris Day could be so sultry, swinging and cool. Needless to say I dig it...

The only time I ever got a reaction to my music from my late father was when he listened to Doris Day on my headphones. He would close his eyes. Her voice is heavenly. My wish is that she would have recorded more duet albums with Andre Previn. To me nothing beats piano, bass, and drums with that incredible Doris Day voice. No female vocalist has a better voice to my ears. Thanks for the photos and motion graphics. If you haven't shared more from this CD I can. "Control Yourself" is one more.

I think she could do it all. This is one of my favorite albums. She was sort of jazzy when she first started singing. And she got back to it with the Duet album.
I have to listen to the songs on my favorite list everyday. I wish there was a way to have them all play automatically. I hate it that someone like DD had such a rough time of it in life. Many ordinary folk do too, but she seemed to have such a sunny, happy personality. We do have to strive for happiness sometimes don't we.
Well - she's a good example of how to overcome adversity. She's had plenty to overcome. Her son, Terry, said she was great at moving on - could leave the bad behind her and move right on up the road. I guess we should all learn a lesson from that. thank for your great comments. This is one of my favorite songs too !!
