  • He was the gratest at his time! As Mohamed Ali was at his own time, Mike Tyson after and Klitschko's today. Of course is not proper to compare boxers that fighted in different time frames. The hardware of the human body has changed significantly since Marciano was boxing. Today the athletes are much bigger in size and strength. Marciano couldn't even reach Klitschko's today, let alone the fact that he wouldn't cope with the brutal force of Mike Tyson at his prime...

  • rocky marciano was the best boxer of all time period

  • song in the end?

  • @hennimotor

Clannad - I Will Find You

  • In my opinion Jack Dempsey and Marciano could've beat ali.

  • Ali and rocky is the Best both of them none the lesser they have their own Legend unlike the pretending flyod boooooo !!!

  • @Netherv0iD Don't pick on floyd gayweather!

  • DO IT DONT TALK ABOUT IT !

  • if they want me to lose...they`ll have to kill me !

  • Rocky your the best

  • Rocky is the best he's way better ali

  • @GreedMendoza Please don't be an idiot..

  • @GreedMendoza

Marciano was great but no, just no. Ali and louis are the GOAT's. And I'm 100% italian. Rocky is still top 5 thouhh

  • @gibememoni they were both greatest of all time but after that title comes the title that only undisputed can have THE LEGEND ! ROCKY MARCIANO !

  • @GreedMendoza Not greatest no one is because in their own way they have their great moments

  • rocky never lost cause he was the toughest boxer off all time. he could eat anything, kinda how the cookie monster went on his chips ahoy lol

  • Rocky had little real techniquehe just hit anything he could hit arms back of head anything he could while people like Ali had real boxing technique

  • Grandioso!!!

  • the best!

  • Great boxer and i read... great person too.

  • The only people who disagree with Marciano being the best are black people.

  • @ProcyonAlpha The other way round. The only says he being the best are white people.

  • @ProcyonAlpha and boxing analyst

  • @ProcyonAlpha

I know blacks that love marciano

  • @gibememoni I know mate, I was only trying to annoy people :)

  • @ProcyonAlpha Im white, and this guy looks good but lets be honest here Mike Tyson in his prime would destroy everyone!

  • @ProcyonAlpha It's a shame that my friends and a lot of other people think ali was the best. They only think this because ESPN and every other sports channel loves loud mouth black people it's fact. The most recent proof I can think of is when Chad ocho cinco caught one pass in the superbowl and they made a huge deal out it, meanwhile Danny woodhead had a touchdown plus over 50 yards of total offense. I'm not racist it's just a fact of how this country is biased against white athletes.

  • what an incredibly badass man. I wish i could have seen him live in action. I dont know much in depth information about boxing, but i know a bad man when i see one. And rocky marciano is a bad bad man. But also so gentle and non abrasive outside the ring. Hes like a close family friend or your neighbor who would drive your grandmother to the pharmacy to pick up her prescriptions, then climb into the ring and completley bash a mans face in

  • it is said Rocky had the punching power of an amor piercing projectile ... he hurt you where ever he made contact ... many of his opponents suffered ruptured blood vessels in their arms and shoulders ... anyone that knows boxing knows Rocky was truly the greatest

  • rocky was strong as hell and could take a punch

  • People are so quick to say Marciano is overrated. The truth is, he's probably the most underrated boxer of all time. You can't mention his name without some black guy popping up and calling him a bum.

Not only did he punch with lots of power, but was also an expert at slipping past jabs and getting inside his opponents. Very underrated. One of the best HWs of all time.

  • @crowley0312 Theirs more to being a boxer than just technique is what ALOT of people forget... Jersey Joe Walcott was a better boxer than Marciano ever was a better boxer but he never had anywhere near the same amount of heart and determination or better conditioning you could add as Marciano plus he was also fierce very fierce maybe not the best text book boxer but he has alot of qualities a championship boxer should have but today's era boxers DON'T HAVE!!!

  • Rocky punched like he had lead shot in his gloves, just these thudding heavy fists that reverberated through his opponents, he's style probably wouldn't work so well nowadays as the sport (and world) has come on so far but he was a real gent and a humble champ, qualities that are sadly rare now. All these years later and never forgotten. R.I.P Rocky.

  • His look and boxing style reminds me of "Arthur Abraham"

  • paulie has skill? ahaha wow could you get any stupider? paulie's faggot ass sucks dick. fagget got exposed by amir khan, cotto and hatton. fagget has 6 knockouts out of 30 wins. you call that skill? i call that garbage.

  • @xXanaXBloodXx He has a hand condition you fucking moron!

Learn your stuff about boxing, you only judge boxing on 5 or 6 names...

I bet you will say Mayweather's record isn't great!!

I HATE people like you, so uneducated in the great sport.

  • one of the greatest of all time

  • ITALIANS DO IT BETTER!! GRAZIE TORO SCATENATO!!

  • @massymito Messi, Di Stefano, Marciano... ALL SONS OF ITALY!!

  • For all the people who say he couldnt last a round with Tyson, Ali, etc. Are seriously mistaken. This guy was all heart and a piece of Italian- American steel that couldnt be worn down....

  • For those astrologists amongst us, Rocky was a "gentle Virgo" !

  • Damn he hit like a beast

  • the 9 people who dislike this are blick

  • Rocky Marciano Is Slow, No Way Rocky Would Last A Round Against A Prime Mike Tyson And Lennox Lewis.

  • @xXanaXBloodXx It wasn't his "slowness" that won his fights. Bert Surgar said it was a combination of style and explosive power that beat his challenger to the canvas. Bert said Rocky could literally throw punches from the ground up. It is said challengers actually had trouble training to fight him. Was Foreman fast? Tyson couldn't deal with Rocky's style and conditioning and Lewis would run like the wind to stay away from him and I doubt he could land a solid punch. IMHO

  • @xXanaXBloodXx

1 round? you're fucking retarded and you suck at boxing you jealous spic taco fuck. Rocky would probably lose to both but he'd put up a fight.

  • @gibememoni typical big nose guido. go kill yourself lame, hop off marcianos nuts if he has some. marciano fought out of shape, way out of there prime fighters. hes a bum. mike tyson would kill him.

  • @xXanaXBloodXx

lol look at you 5'2 short ass spic. Mad because your race got no heavyweight champ? yall suck. Stay getting beat up by blacks pussy.

    Come mow my lawn

  • @gibememoni Yet we have the best lightweights in the world. what guido big nose dick sucking make up putting woman looking italian american boxer do you have today? faggot ass paulie malinaggi? the guy who does his eyebrows so thin that he looks like a female? pff how embarrassing.

  • @xXanaXBloodXx

Best light weights? Who? Brandon rios? lol that bitch sucks, slow as hell no foot work no power just a typical dumbass mexican with a chin.

Besides paulie has more skill than any mexican today

  • @minscandpoo

No Marciano was not the lightest Heavyweight Champion, I believe it was Tommy Burns 167 lbs but I am just going from memory but I know The Rock was not the smallest ! ! !

    Paulie D' The Punch Professor

  • @patrizia1usa Bob Fitzsimmons weighed 167 pounds when he won the title stopping James J. Corbett in the 14th round on March 17, 1897. He also weighed 167 pounds when he lost his title against James J. Jeffries.

  • @kenzo5716

As soon as I seen you reply I knew you were correct

I checked it our on Box Rec Tommy Burns weighed 168 1/2 against Jack Johnson..

    Thanks for checking me ! ! !

    Paulie D'

  • @patrizia1usa If Burns had just not eaten those 2 extra bananas for lunch. Then I might be wrong. Ha! LOL

  • tyson in his prime i think would beat him tho and please ppl dont attack me for saying this i just think its true

  • 49-0-0 with 43 knockouts

  • you can speak about box' but when you speak about ROCKY MARCIANO, you just mean THE BEST HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONS OF ALL TIME

  • Road35 u know how retarded it sounds to say joe louis wasnt old?? And jersey walcott?? They were past their prime

  • these guys seem to punch much harder than modern boxers. does the gloves have anything to do with that?

  • @kaaajeee no they were just real hard asses. And Rocky was the toughest.

  • @kaaajeee yes more impact with the hit with thos gloves the modern ones are more protective for your hands thats why

  • @kaaajeee

There are punchers today that hit as hard as any in history past.

As to your question about the Gloves.~The gloves in the Old School were a better tool for the puncher than todays Gloves.

The Old Gloves were stuffed with Horse Hair and could be molded by pushing the hair around inside the glove, to keep the padding from getting in the way.

A falicy is that the padding protects the hands .

Wraps protect hands. Padding protects the opponents face !

    Paulie D' The Punch Professor

  • @patrizia1usa you could have padded Rocky's gloves with bubble wrap and he still would have flattened them.

  • @kenzo5716

    TRUE

Bubble Wrap or Pillows for Gloves and Rocky would still Punch a Mule to death ! ! !

  • @patrizia1usa You got that right. He trained with an "extra heavy" bag. I think it weighed 300lbs.

  • @patrizia1usa yeah, thats what i thought. just didnt know the specifics, like horse hair etc. . Cool reply. Who is that prof. Paulie D' ?

  • @kaaajeee

Kaaajee~ I am The Punch Professor Paul D'Antuono ~ a life long student of Boxing,

45 plus years to date.. Check out my Videos for some insight to what I am about ..

    Happy you liked my comment.

    Paul D;

  • Undefeated because he fought mostly old out of their prime fighters. Never fought a prime worthy opponent

  • @udown24 Rocky started boxing late. I mean mid 20s or later. Not bad.

  • @udown24 mmmm what about Jersey Joe Walcott, was he not the champ and Joe Louis was not old when Marciano fought him. So ur saying everyone Rocky fought when he was champion was old and out of shape, you know how retarded that sounds.

  • @udown24 he did enough mate, dont worry about that. He was extreamly aggressive. He could beat anyone put in front of him

  • This guy was the definition of HARD BASTARD

  • himself? Rocky Marciano went 49-0

i must not understand, what do you mean?

  • @road35 it means he has had 49 wins no draws and no losses only heavy weight boxer to do that in the history of boxing and i think the only boxer in history in any division i think

  • @topeneid Mayweather might tie that but i think he only has 2 or 3 fights left in him.

  • best fighter there ever was and ever will be, i salute you sir.

  • Marciano the greatest heavyweight. He beat Joe Louis in his prime

  • @unfeldetonymontana that was joe louis's final fight. idk if that was his prime.

  • 49-43-0-0

  • @unfeldetonymontana 49-43, who's record is that?

  • @road35 Rocky Marciano himself, bro'.

  • holy cow each one of his punches sounds like the sound of bones cracking after someone jumps off a roof..

  • @icarusflyhigher

bones and blood vessels were cracking :)

  • rocky marciano mi idolo

  • I truley Respect Marciano as a fighter, not only because he never lost a fight in his career but also because, being a fighter myself, i have the same "disadvantages" he had: I'm not very fast, not very tall ect.... that is why he's the best fighter of all time for me!

  • Any truth to the rumour that Rocky was a big fagola?

  • @tupactheofrap how can you be the greatest when you only fought old men and bums and retired young and took no risk. he was a great but not no where near the greatest. sugar ray robinson koed more people than marciano beat and won 90 fights before he lost 1

  • @hatercop2 you see the huge size difference in most of rocky's fights? he was always at a disadvantage. you can't say nothing. titans crushed marciano and yet he not only still stood, he walked out a victor. rocky balboa isn't just a classic boxing movie. it's a pretty cut close follow to marciano's character excluding balboa's back story and his two losses in the movies.

  • Marciano kept throwing power punch after power punch, round after round. If anything, his stamina is legendary.

  • good video, the music was a little depressing though. Thumbs up if you want Marquez to beat Pacquiao this weekend

  • Marciano the true greatest

  • Sorry misspelt that it's 2 fights per month what I'm saying is muaythai is better cos it better stimulate real life combats

  • He never as dominant as Dieselnoi sor thanakun . Thailand has a much bigger pool of talent and much higher frequency of fight ( 2 fights a week) and after 4 years he is stripped of his belt by all sanctioning bodies cos they sick of him being champ n eliminating all styles

  • 49 fights, 49 wins , 43 wins by KO -> simply G.O.A.T.

  • the best tribute

  • there's only one way to describe marciano.... INVINCIBLE

@TheFUTUREZHizTORY ... that would be such a great movie... i don't really know why nobody has already do it. Sal Sanchez... fiuuuuu.

  • OH YEA THATS TOO U FOOZ TALKING BOUT BOXING MOVIES!!! WHAT SOMEONE NEEDS TO DO IS MAKE A MOVIE ON SALVADOR "CHAVA" SANCHEZ NOW THAT WOULD BE EPIC.....

  • THE ROCKY MOVIE WAS BASED ON CHUCK WEPNER!!! LEARN UR HIZTORY!!!!

  • he looks so weedy

  • he has a little bit of tyson

  • @slikdiez1

    stocky powerhouses

  • @slikdiez1 I think it would be more like "Tyson has a little bit of Rocky". I agree, I have seen similarities in their styles

  • @kashpc ohh you are right sry:D

  • at 0:40 "I'm just gonna take a quick nap...

    xD

  • stamina, power, chin, conditioning, back when gloves were smaller

  • Muhammad Ali Talks About Rocky Marciano*

  • Ali him self wasnt sure if he could be the rock.. look up Ali on Marciano...

  • @sabbath66 Ali was not sure because he cannot say for sure if he could beat a boxer with 49-0 record, but that does not mean that he could not because they never fought in the ring. The comparison just does not work. As far as style, Rocky is definitely not the best. He has the best record, but that does not have much to do with style. Ali dances, moves, jabs, and hits. Marciano punches hard.

  • road35

    185 _ 195 lbs

  • @411753 for a heavyweight, Max Baer fought before Rocky and he was 215

  • I love Rocky Marciano, despite what most people think, I believe he'd have a good chance against Ali, he's totally made for Ali... He's a true legend. RIP Rocky...

  • Its Clobbering time!!

  • Does anyone know how much Marciano weighed in

  • Not one of, he was and still is the best heavyweight champion that ever lived. The only champion to go undefeated. None of the monkeys who won the belt after him can claim that they went undefeated in their careers!!!

  • how could he be heavyweight with his height he doesnt seem that muscular like mike tyson

  • @TuRkmEnOkaN

Well heavys were a bit smaller back then. Rocky was 5'10 188lbs, prime tyson was 5'10-5'11 225lbs.

Either way they were both very short heavyweights but packed massive power

  • 49-0-0

  • best boxer!!! thank you comichero88

  • This is a truly outstanding tribute my friend! Thank you.

  • So people who 'd u choose as a potential actor to play Rocky Marciano in a movie?

  • Marciano had brutal uppercuts.

  • back when boxing was best!

  • this man looks like he's trying to kill the other guy, it looks like he's swinging sledgehammers

  • @MrCherubhair Yes of course hahaha

What brings this Big Mouth Pussy Racist Asshole to the sport???

He is not a real Fighter like Marciano!!!!

Just a Looser with big Luck his Style was just cheap!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • We have Ali for Muhammad ali, Raging bull for Jake lamotta, Rocky balboa films for joe frazier, now we need an ultimate one for marciano called " The Brockton Blockbuster"

  • so good

  • Tyson doesn't compare to Marciano. He never let the fame get into his head. He never screwed around with training. That's why Rocky is 49-0 and Mike is 50-6--0-2

  • Comment removed

  • Thanks

  • Carmine Vingo did not die from the Marciano fight, he lived for many years afterwards. He was one of the "big" guys Marciano fought-he weighed in at a whopping 189 pounds.

  • muhammad ali was WAY better!

  • The best of all time. He was far from being a big man for a heavyweight and took on everyone with all of them being physically bigger then him and still noone came close. The best boxer that ever lived

  • Closest person to him right now is Floyd mayweather 41 wins no losses

  • @UserNamei5 Some differences in the ancient grecian boxing, which originated in Sparta around 620 to 600 BC, and ours are that they didnt have a designated ring, there were no time limits or rounds, judges enforced the rules by beating the fighters with whips or rods, there were no weight classes, no holds were allowed but ANY hit with the hand was allowed as long as it was with a closed fist. Comparing their boxing to ours is like comparing our basketball to the aztec's tlachtli!

  • @UserNamei5 why do you find the need to resort to name calling? In logic and debate there is a term for that, its called Ad Hominem, in other words its character assassination. A fallacy such as that is used when one's argument platform is weak and therefore the person resorts to attempting to make their opponent seem inept rather than being able to attack their opponents platform.

  • Rocky Marciano is the best Boxer ever. If you know boxing, you'll know Marciano is the best in the world.

  • Name of songs in this video pls

  • OHHHH...HE STALKED HIM...WHAT A HIT. lol. game over on Walcot

  • @babiifatz you suck u couldnt cut in in a real fight where you can kick punch knee elbow

  • Exactly. Louis was far from his prime - 7 fight win streak, 2 being top 10? His age was an excuse. Rockys durability and stamina and power took over the second half of the fight. But he defeated some great boxers. And also, think about it - it's VERY hard in ANY sport to go undefeated. It takes more than just talent. But mayweather didn't fight much competition like Marciano so it's hard to compare the 2

  • The greatest never let u rest chin of iron f kirk scunthorpe

  • who would want to feel marciano's punch. o.O

  • Joe louis was still a game opponent. Old man? He was only 37 years old and on a 7 fight win streak and K.O'd 2 top 10 boxers before he fought marciano. His record was 66-2 when he fought marciano. He was not washed up like people say he was.

Vitali klitschko is 40 years old and still #1 hw in boxing

  • @gibememoni Individual boxers age differently. Louis was definetly washed up when he fought Rocky. On the other hand Ezzard and Walcott were still excellent fighters when Rocky beat them. Moore was also in his very long "prime" when he fought Rocky. The Klitschkos are around 40 years old but they are still going strong. Every fighter ages differently. I don't think Rocky would have had a very long "prime". I think he was like Frazier in that regard.

  • People will always debate as to whether Marciano or Ali was the best boxer ever. Personally, with my very limited and ignorant knowledge (having just got into watching this exciting sport) I would suggest the following, for what it is worth. Marciano was a terrific fighter: undefeated and absolutely lethal. I think Ali would have found it extremely difficult to beat Marciano. But Ali is my favourite boxer, because there was a greater beauty about the way he boxed. Both were brilliant.

  • @MrMatt44000

Neither Muhammad Ali or Rocky Marciano were the best boxers ever.

  • il destro con cui ha steso WALCOTT è un capolavoro di tecnica e potenza!

  • @UserNamei5 OK whatever. Is that all you have to say or are the facts and stats there? I guess there is nothing for you to say huh?

  • @loub72 He's right you are ignorant. Different fighters have faught different boxers... you can't say that if one was beaten and the other wasn't, the one that wasn't was better. To be honest, it's impossible to accurately compare two fighters in terms of who's better unless it's blatantly obvious. Unless you know two top level fighters that have faught the exact same people on their record, there's always a bias. Floyd Mayweather is unbeaten, that doesn't make him better than Sugar Ray IMO.

  • @therealist811

Marcianos unbeaten record is not what made him great. It was his power, his stamina, his durability that made him great.

Records don't mean a damn thing

  • @gibememoni That's what I'm sayin. Take nothin away from Marciano, I'm sayin it's biased to compare with fighters of a different era. He was unbeaten in his time... when boxing was less complicated sure, but still he ruled that time so you gotta respect.

  • @UserNamei5 Wrong, Marciano was that good. He would have knocked out any of the boxers you mentioned. There is no defense for you since he never lost a fight. The ones you mentioned have lost more than 1 fight. You can never say he would be beaten because he wasn't. Straight forward and simple.

  • @UserNamei5 I've never met you. And you're calling me stupid?

  • @UserNamei5 LOL There was no set time limit, they didn't wear gloves they wore himantes, the contest area was unknown so who knows if it was riddled with obstacles, there wasn't any weight divisions, you could hit the person when they were down, etc.. Another thing why are you getting all pissed? Because I don't agree that Marciano would've been beat by the aforementioned boxers?

  • Comment removed

  • @UserNamei5 Yes I know that it was a simulation by the way so it doesn't have that much bearing on my contention but still.

  • @UserNamei5 For one Boxing in the ancient Olympics was different from professional Boxing today. Two yes he was that good of a heavy weight. And three Ali, Patterson, and Louis were all beaten. Marciano is the only fighter to never be defeated. If they were better why have they been beaten and Marciano hasn't? Rocky beat Louis. I know he wasn't in his prime but if Louis was better then why didn't he win? In a simulation Marciano beat Ali. I've spoken with people who have seen him fight.

  • Does anyone know the relationship between Rocky Marciano and Rocky Balboa if any?

  • @bennyrodriguez11 I don't believe there is any relation other than the first names. "Rocky" might be extremely loosely based on Marciano but I doubt it.

  • @bennyrodriguez11 the only relationship between them was that they got the idea for rocky balboa and apollo creed from marciano and ali then made a damn good movie lol

  • @UserNamei5 You're going way too philosophical with it. Since boxing has been an organized regulated sport there has not been another fighter like Marciano.

  • there has to be a movie about this guy

  • @road35 Right it's freakin retarded that there hasn't been. They've made a movie about Ali, Braddock. LaMatta, Graziano, Jack Johnson, Ward, Carter all of which have been defeated. But the one guy in history to not have been beat is rarely even acknowledged. All I hear is Tyson this Ali that. It's a shame.

  • @road35 There Is Its ROCKY BALBOA Its About Him Look It Up i Thot The Same Too.

  • @Kidd1FreShh that can't be right, Marciano's the only fighter who has never been beaten. In the movie Rocky lost

  • @road35 Maurciano Has LOSE ! its just everyone trys to forget bout him but by losing he learned and wen he became da best he NEVER LOST AGAIN look it up

  • @road35 It was - rocky balboa
