Dude you should get the technic pack,it may seem very hard to get a hng of,but its super fun.Some of the features are such as,quarries,over 20 new blocks and items like saphire emeralds uranium etc,a new way to build stuff and lots more.

@bbriiannz The Philosopher's Stone is an alchemic item, if you study alchemy you'd know about it but since literally no one knows what it is or cares...no one knows bout the Philosopher's Stone. Basically its something that increases the alchemic output of an object which would allow the turning of lead into gold.

@GuyMrDude Did you make sure to use both ModloaderMP and Minecraft Forge API? Equivalet Exchange requires more than just modloader. Follow the directions on the forum page in the exact sane order. I have found that the order the mods are put into the jar file matters.

Can you please put a copy of your minecraft folder in Mediafire for download? you can take off your worlds and of course your login information. I cannot get this mod to install correctly and i have no idea what im doing wrong. So if you could just put your folder with the mod installed on mediafire it wouldbe awesome. If you dont then its ok too, i just wont be able to play it.

You could add "Buildcraft" + "Industrialcraft2" + "Zeppelin" + "Red power" (the handsaw is awesome) for cool stuff...

"diagonal fences" for aesthetics...

"treecapitator" for obvious reasons...

and Mo creatures (it's better than Creeps and Weirdos imo).

These are the mods I use and I bet you'll like them too Leptir.
