@Damianplaza its not so important as long as you vacuum and if you can "jet spray" it, and make sure the first layer of paint you apply has been thinned down and the second layer straight pure thick paint!!

How important is it to scrap down the floor. Would I still get a good effect if i just prime and paint? Its just I have SO MUCH basement.
