  • It's a perfect performance. Wow!!!

  • They were far ahead of their times.

  • music from 신.중.현.

this is typical Shin's sound in early 70's

  • Wow~ awsome..

  • lol, leave it to good ol Yoon Bock Hee to have such a dynamic powerhouse of a single cheap rotating light spinning while Lady Enka and her polyester smester' steals wallets from stunned males in the first three rows...jolly good heaps of joy abound in spite of Yoon Bock Hee's henchmen having their eyebrows burned off by an invisible midget (little person) bastard.

  • This singer remenber me the mexican singer Angelica Maria, they are about the same generation, and both are great singers *_,*

  • For the English lyrics of this song, please message me :)

  • wow....70's. =)

  • Funny how the stage setters struggle to put the mic on the stand, only to have her pop it right out

  • @mwkmn yeah!

  • Why did they censor her songs?

  • Because the military goverment was crazy!!! Not only music but also lots of movies as well. The silly censorships were lifted i guess early 90s. Since then, many good Korean music and movies have been made.

  • The reason were very silly. The way she sang were not educational. Bad for young people. That 's the way military goverment people think

  • I heard this song on the movie Sunny and I immediately fell in love with it :)

    Orienkorean, you are awesome.

  • ohohh!!

  • Looks like MC hammer stole her MOVES!

  • and this is sixties ! OMG ! It is not later than Western !

  • Even in 70's Korea produced color TV sets and exported them. But the Korean government prohibited making color broadcast because the government believed that Koreans would spend their money to buy such things they saw in the commercials or shows, not saving.

  • really?

  • I'm Korean, and I didn't know this singer. F**king stupid ! I keep listening listening and listening.

    what the fu** this music?

This music is funk, psychedelic, rock, and korean Trote (kinda traditional , but not really, like Japanese Enka)

It seriously makes me shiver !

Im really getting into old Korean music.

I was so stupid, I ignored old KOrean music, it is a shame. Respect !

  • LOL yes this is great, and better than Western shit ha ha!

  • @kirywife kim jung mi is one of my favorite (old) korean singers.beautiful voice she have.greets from finland :)

    let music unite the world

  • @emerni wow ! how come you know this old Korean music ?? (I cant even guess you know Korean music now). so curious

  • @kirywife i got into asian music maybe 6 years ago, tried to find atleast 1 album from most of the asian countries...ive 12 san ul lim and 3 kim jun mi and a few other albums from korea)...

im surprised how amazingly good music was made in korea and rest of asia during the 70s.if anyone can recomend some other korean bands/artists(similar to kim jung mi,san ul lim, shin jung hyun and the men),plz message me private.

  • She and Kim Choo Ja was way ahead of the time, that is why they were all banned for a while by the korean government.

  • @kirywife I don't hear any Korean trot in this and I'm grateful as fuck! I love this clip. Drugless, in Korea, in the 70s! This chick's incredible.

  • I love OrienKorean.

  • I'm in love with this singer! Nice intro which reminds me of HA-HA-HA.

  • she is so beautiful!

  • Awesome!

  • Back dancer is none..

  • excellent vocals, after watching these clips several times i went and tracked down two of her albums, even better.

  • her voice is really awesome

  • Wow, considering the days, she was awesome on the stage.. Of course her style is still appealing..

  • Great. She is one of the greatest female singers in the history of korean pop.

  • Bravo! Kim Jung Mi is the best!
