it's a cover, some sort of pan pipes version, of a song by Soda Stereo - the equivalent of the Stones, or maybe The Police, in South America. The band, from Argentina, split a few years back (check out the Ultimo Concierto live double album) although Gustavo Cerati still records great albums and tours every year or so.... Madre Tierra rocks too, and is well worth a visit down south if you're in Ecuador...
