@brotherlybrother11 LOL I know, right? It's just the rules. I assume because other jumpers land there, Ive done it before, it's not rocket science. If I can pinpoint a BASE landing, I can land on a long strip of grass.. lol But JumpTiegen is right, I do need to get my C so I can go longer between jumps without needing a recurrency, but that means more money and I don't have it now, I am C license "qualified" (ex was istructor) did the sky part,I just have to turn in paperwork with the money
@brotherlybrother11 Oh yeah and I have jump in a pool with a rig on and have them throw a canopy over me and see if I don't drown ;) seriously I have to get out from underneath it and remove gear. Lame. After I blasted my way through 200 jumps I started doing what I started skydiving for and other things, so I didn't care about moving up anymore. I'll do it though, when I get the cash.
@Skydive4ever LMAO!! That was my last C5 fracture, on my Sabre1. how did you guess lol. That was AWFUL!!! Actually this time it was my Saffire 1 and I had trashed packed it to get on a load and then I was slightly headlow when I tossed. Won't do that again. Thank you, Mario! :)
@msxxfast most people on our DZ who have a Sabre one has has a hard opening at one time or another, most roll the nose toward the middle a bit to slow down the openings :-) I have a specter, only hard opening I've had was a premature deployment in a sit, pilot chute came out at 160 mph, let's just say it delayed my skydiving for a couple of years :-\
@Skydive4ever I usually just push it in a bit, I have rolled my Sabre1 before and it helped a lot. It flies so much better than my Saffire too! But I don't jump my Sabre1 anymore, a friend has it right now. For that neck-killing jump, I barely even flaked. It was awful. I'll just skip a load if I can't pack in time. My friend was going on a tandem and we were trying to time it right to get on the load. Learned my lesson :) I really think being headlow when opening didn't help. lol
Nice landing
