virtually every stihl product are now made/assembled in China, stihl ships all the components out to be assembled in China, as they can employ 70 Chinese workers to 1 German worker, this is a fact as I work in the business!
I'm a chainsaw mechanic for a living... I had a guy come in the shop the other week with one of them chinese Stihl MS460's....it was in need of service out of the box by the way...
So the guy wants to hear from me how good this thing really is. After I had tuned the carb on his fake Stihl, I fired up a real MS460, put it in his hands, told him to just blip the throttle a few times, and asked him if he felt the difference...
