@chinnarapt Hello. Hats off to you. I am delighted and looking forward to seeing more of you/s performances. What's the tuning. I am interested in learning your style. I play steel guitar; and live in Canada. Is there any way we can connect so I can learn from you. Thanks
Hi! Its a brass rod and i usually make it myself . Just buy one inch diameter brass rod from any metel shop and smoothen it from the ends. Its about 5 to 6 inches long depending on the size of your fingers. Incase you cant find one at your end, you can email me or call me. Just google my name (manish pingle) and you will find all my contact info. thanks for the appriciation. It means a lot to me.
I know very little about Music and commenting on mastero strokes by Manish is out of my purview..i can only say this proud performer is my class mate and iam listening his music since i was 12 yrs of age ...we are luck guys to have such artist with us.
With no disrespect to anyone else, Manish Pingle has got to be the most amazing Indian guitarist I've ever heard. His tone, phrasing and technique are incredible. In his hands, it no longer sounds like a western slide guitar, but truly sounds like a classical Indian instrument!
Its a guitar, played in Indian classical style. Its modified by adding a few strings under the main melody strings, so its sound is more suitable to play Indian clasical music. The first person who thought of playing Indian music on this instrument is Pt.Brijbhushan Kabra. Then came Pt Vishwamohan bhatt who modified it a little more and renamed the instrument as Mohanveena.
