Crazycuntryboy2 I wouldn't say that 94% were dirt poor, their riches were handed down from their 1st Revolution fathers. What ever they had built up from the 1700s was destroyed by the union invader robbers and terrorizers who overtook our Confederate States of America.

94% of the South didn't own slaves, the MAJORITY of tat 94% were DIRT POOR FARMERS. 90% of the Confederate Army were NON slave owners. 2,500 Hispanics, 2,000 Jews, 80,000 FREE blacks, and 33,000 Native Americans were in the Confederate Army. The Union did NOT allow blacks in their Army until late 1862 early 1861. Alabama was the first state in the CSA to pass a law mandating blacks could freely join, in 1861. The Confederate Army was also NOT segregated. Do your research. DUMB YANKEE.
