  • awesome !

  • Good fast boat, just needs "skipper" to be able to trim it properly............it is porpoising and chine walking all over the place.

  • xddd i probably said that that is all you need on the water. and maybe a canoe or some sort of personally powered boat. awesome peace out!

  • sorry treevs....... deleted your comment by mistake :-(

  • MMMM.....i`ve been looking for somthing a little smaller and sexier to hang my 90hp merc 2-stroke.

  • i turned the wheel at a little less speed and i almost fliped lol it was great

  • Hi Arrowflyte, I wondered if you had lifted the motor at all or is it sat in the top set of holes? I have a similar boat with a 75HP mariner and the mercury prop selector software recons I can use a 26 inch pitch lazer 2. Not sure I believe it, say it would get 49MPH.

  • Hi there!!

I use a jackplate for my motor and it´s upjacked about 4"-5"..... hard to say, but I think that 26p is way too much for you.... what´s your prop.pitch today?

  • Hi ,

I've just bought the boat and it came with a 15 inch pitch prop - I think the last owner only used it for skiing. I wonder if it was quite slow and maybe over-revved the motor? If you jacked your engine so high, any problems with getting the cooling water in the lower leg?. How much set back does your jack plate give?

  • do you have a tachometer for your motor? What´s the rpm with the 15p prop?

the 15p seems a little low to me....

I run with my regular intakes for coolingwater....it´s risky, but it works for me....pressuregauge is needed, for full control of waterpressure loss....

    I use a jackplate with 6" setback...

  • I did reply a while ago. U-tube glitch maybe. I haven't had the boat in the water yet. I'll let you know when I do. Do you have any problem getting on the plane with a 20 inch pitch & all that lift and setback?

  • no problem getting in plane.....if you watch my other "arrowflyte" movieclip you can see when the boat getting in plane :-)

  • Begs the question, is there no down side to your setup? Most people are happy to do 35 knots in a boat like yours without experimenting with props, hight and setback. Dont tell me you can actually drag a skier along with that set up too.....

Look forward to setting mine up even more now.

  • Little problem pulling heavy skiers, and thats because the high pitch propp.

    No problem with slippage....

    I don´t see any problems with my setup...only improvments...less vobble...more topspeed....and alot more fun.. :-D

  • More top speed! I look forward to the next video.....you do wear a life jacket, yes?

  • i think you need to trim down cuz in waves that would fly out the water. ha

  • OK. I'm thinking of buying a Fletcher arrowflyte with 70hp, so the speed will probobly be enough if I switch the propeller. Hehe :-) Thanks for the quick answer!

  • What's the maxspeed?

  • in this movie I´m driving with a "omc raker" 20pitch propeller @ ~45 knots.

The topspeed today is ~47 (gps) knots with a "precission turbo1" 21p prop.

  • What size of engine would that be? I have an arrow fletcher and would like that speed. Let me know folks! Many thanks

  • Selva portofino 80hp....2-stroke

  • How much for an engine like that? 2nd hand

  • blimey, that looks a bit dodgy. Brave man piloting that.

  • the comment thing doesnt work right.ARROWFLYTE left a reply but i cant retreive it.

  • runs decent for a 80.looks like it would get all bent out of shape if you keot trimming................chime walk

  • max outtrimmed in this video.....and yes, its a little unstable
