  • Awesome video, helped me alot!

  • realy good video.. by balls fly better then ever ;)

  • nice vid..

  • nice vid man.ur tips helped me become true freshmen QB for the varsity football team of my high school

  • DAng this explains so much. I've played football all my life, but I have smaller hands. I can never get a tight spiral on bigger footballs, but now I understand why. I need to put my pointer (index) finger further back on the football.

  • great vid..will use those steps.

  • Thanks! It helped alot! PS ditch the shit jersey

  • thanks for the tips man and nice brady jersey

  • nice vid man thanks. cool jersey too i got a moss one

  • Good video, and thanks for the tips... nice jersey by the way! :)

  • yh m8 a big thanks helped me so much ma throws were all over the place before thx much 5/5

  • This helped ALOT! You really know your stuff.

  • that was so helpful. u no wat ur doing

  • great vid helped me a lot

but what do you have to change to throw it long?

  • Nice vid.

    But lose the pats jersey.

  • sorry never mind what i said, i was thinking of something else:P, its all very accurate

  • this guy knows his stuff, i've played qb for 6 years now, and i completetly agree, expect for maybe the feet part your back foot shouldnt be like that it should be your front foot that points and in the end your feet should make and L

  • Hey Im a QB and totally agree that your feet positioning is underated. I find it helps alot. Great vid

  • dude this really helps thank you. already me being a quarterback i have significantly improved. thank you for the excellent instructional video.

  • thanks man! you really helped me out. we are planning to make a team on my school and i am the quarterback. still i sucked at throwing and i could not figure out how to throw the ball properly. with this, i might just be able to become a good QB!

    thanks again!

  • and jersy

  • nice video

  • this helped a lot...great job on the vid

  • great vid thanx

  • GReat, i think missing is that you need to take larger steps(drop back). Other wise you may get sacked, and it will be harder for you to see the field because of the lineman. Great video btw, very nice. Good luck to you man

  • nice vid

im a senior and im thinkin about tryin out for QB this football season.

    Thanks

  • You ball should never be near your ear. My coach once caught this bad habit of mine. He told me to run 30 yards with the ball 4 times in my hands and every time he took note of where the ball was in relation to my body. Guess what? Every time i came back to him he pointed out to me that the natural position that my arms are in is at chest level with the ball perpendicular to the ground. So what does this mean? The ball has to be where you are comfortable with.

  • ur coach is pretty smart

  • u rock man i just became a qb this last year and i did great and its all because u made this video it taught me how to thro the ball

    thanks alot

  • Ace vid, helped me a lot

  • twow that tight spiwal you always wanted.

  • was good thanks

  • u roc man you helped me bigtime.

    p.s. pats roc

  • your a legend ..that helps man thx alot!

  • Are you Tom Brady?

  • hahahahha

  • llllllol. thanks dude that was good

  • your back foot doesn't need to be pointed at the receiver

  • i'm a throwing man now!

    thanks bro :)

  • just because tom brady has his backfoot towards the receiver doesnt mean its completely proper.. and officially wat people need 2 do.. good vid tho

  • the only problem i have is when i wanna throw it deep, i dont use the same form i do for the short passes i change it up

  • foind ya tahgit an acritly trow da futball. grait tips.

  • yeah his accent is awesome

  • the object of the video wasn't to show how good he was, the throw at the end was just to show the throwing form, it didn't matter where the ball went.

  • shut up the result of the form is a good pass and if the form isnt good than the pass sucks

  • mate don't even argue because you will know you will loose, it is obvious he isn't trying to throw far or fast. what did you mean by your comment " I can throw better than you... "?

  • i think by the comment he meant he could throw better then this kid its pretty self explanatory

  • I know, that was the whole point. he could iether not say anything or say what he meant like further or faster. if he did he would have been whiped because like you can see that wasn't the object of the vid.

  • shut up little kid. if your better than he is why the hell are you watching a video on how to properly throw a ball? he is just showing form, not how far he can throw it. this is why everybody hates 13 year olds so damn much.

  • he wasnt supposod to throw it far stupid ass

  • whoa.... i believe you man. i believe the "i am 13 years old" part. i don't want to bother about your passing skills. i watch this stuff to learn to be a good qb, not to brag myself if i am one.

  • thanks really improved my throwing

  • Great pointers. This will definetly improve my throwing. Thanks.

  • what kind of football(size) is it?

  • hey that guy could replace rex grossman and brian griese lol

  • lol i think i could replace grossman and griese.

  • XboxProROB stop trying to sound smart and SUCK IT

  • thanks for the pointers

  • cool...this relly helped cause at my niddle school we r starting to play flag football and i have no clue what so ever how to play, neither do the peopl eon my team lol we r soo going to lose the tournament

  • some may differ: telling you instead to shift from back(ball of your foot)to planted front. w ear level preferring chest/shoulder. higher release pnt might help. maybe "thumb at your pocket" is an old coaching exaggeration to finish follow thru & should be at or just below chest level (leave your arm there to practice touch passing). Small diffs btw technique but this is a great thing. Mobile WR now QB- keep eyes downfield & practice going from run to stable, don't throw cross body.

  • rex grossman definetly needs these tips

  • Hey man thanks a whole mutch dude that really helped me! :D And just in case ... I didnt want anyone to get confused about somthing he said. He said throw the ball towards your reseiver, thats right but if the resiever is running from left to right or right to left you will have to throw infront of were the resiever is running to. It is a little tricky but you'll get it down. - Please ignore my spelling >:p -

  • Thanks for the vid, I learned a couple of things...

  • damn that was helpful... thanks a lot man (note: that WAS NOT sacrcasm lol)

  • cool

  • youtube needs more helpful folks like this guy. thanks for the pointers. keep it up.

  • very nice, thx

  • thnx a million dude

  • this guy sounds and looks like Eli Manning.

  • Good, Funny how you wore a Tom brady jersey on showing how to throw, sublyminal

  • u think that was an accident? his boston accident is probably a coincidence also.

  • Great video cuz

  • Thanks nice video the only things that I really can't get the hang of is holding the ball up to my ear I feel I'm less mobile and the part of my game that I like the most is my ability to get yards on the ground if anyone has any advice at all for a wide out that's trying to become a QB pls let me know TY!

  • thanks, tomboy309

  • Really nice video.

  • Nice

  • hahaha, if you have you worry about DE's like John Abraham you don't need to watch this video because you're making millions and can throw the ball however you want.

  • nah dude im Q for my high school team and them fast ass DE's are a load to worry about...and i dont make millions

  • jaifool is right, u don't put the ball next to your ear. Because it is way to easy for the blind sided defensive end to come around and knock it out since its so wide open. But if you hold the ball to the numbers, you are more protected against those quick blind-side DE's like John Abraham. If you hold the ball next to the a just a little above the numbers and below the neck, the wind up won't be slow like Byron Leftwich.

  • hey thx i just decided im gonna join my school football team i really needed tips on throwing. thx much

  • Great - very clear, very informative.

  • thanks buddy, great vid.

  • Pahk yah cah in hahvahd yahd.

  • I have the exact same jersey lol GO PATS!

  • u were so close to the net go 30 yrds. further 7 hit the pole then we'll c how good u r

  • what's the deal with people that have to come round with comments like this every time they see a video of anyone doing anything.

  • Welcome to the internet :)

  • uhh becuz any1 can make a throw like that from so close. y dosent air it out & make a better example?

  • Cuz ur gay

  • chill out.

  • You dont Put the ball up to your ear anymore Colleges look for Qbs who hold the ball in their numbers!

  • helped alot

  • thnks

  • yea good job on showing the basics

  • This shows pretty much how to do it=)

  • nice tutorial.

    keep up good work
