after reading bunch of comments here, i just want to tell people gave negative remarks about this film...i will let you react if you have substantial basis why is it a bad movie...i watch this movie in cinema together with my friends after school, last full show...for me and my classmates, its an excellent film...why???we know why it's funny...search what satire and black comedy is before a conclusion that film is bad...don't expect high before watching and finish the film for good assessment..

And don't use Roman Polanski an an example to bash the credibility of the HFPA or Academy Awards. He is only 1 out of thousands of world class A list artists that regard the Golden Globes and Oscars as the template of excellence in filmmaking.

I'm pretty sure this film won't be popular with the masses who expected comedy simply because Eugene Domingo is in it. The masses are accustomed to blunt comedy... or worse, those horrible "love teams" that recycle old love songs to be used as theatrical titles. Then again, I wouldn't really blame them as the trailer can be a bit deceiving. The movie basically knocks on the different stereotype film styles and "reimagining" (or ridiculing. lol) them as they are relatively formulaic.

Cinemalaya gave me hope na maraming pa plang magagaling na film makers sa Pilipinas. Maganda karamihan ng films from plot, concept, script at buong film. Kabilang na tong Septic Tank. The best! :))

I was kinda disappointed after watching the movie, all I can say was "Yun na yun?", my expectations were really high, because first it is Ms. Eugene Domingo, second, star cinema produced it and third, the tweets of the celebrities regarding the movie saying that it is a must watch movie.. I was hoping it will be like Kimmy Dora, but I ended up disappointed..

@netligence oo nga. I respect indie films. but indie films, for me, are not the type of movies that I would go to a cinema for. I mean, for example, one day, I'm very stressed out, and I want something to lighten up my day. I won't watch indie films, coz, indie films are deep, and dark. that's why I don't watch it while I'm having a bad day. I would watch these films when in mood.

This movie is a realistic satire about the indie filmmaking industry. It is a movie that slaps you in the face and makes you realize reality than a mainstream comedy film.

many people would not enjoy this kasi ang mga gustong comedy e yung png-mainstream. the humor of the story has SENSE and will only be appreciated if you are open-minded.
dito lang ako tumawa na pagaktpos may natutunan ako. and eugene domingo, really is the most bankable movie actress of this generation. no doubt, about it.

@bessyleyh18 Ang MAGANDA at PANGIT ay relative na term. Depende yan sa taste mo. Yung mga naka appreciate at na gets ang humor ng movie sila yung may alam kung bakit nakakatawa yung mga eksena at mga dialogues. Kung hindi ka aware sa mga kahinaan sa mga pelikula natin tulad ng sa indie at mainstream, hindi ka matatawa dito. Sasabihin mo na boring at walang kwenta to. Isa itong SATIRE tungkol sa paggawa ng indie film.

I was kinda disappointed after watching the movie, all I can say was "Yun na yun?", my expectations were really high, because first it is Ms. Eugene Domingo, second, star cinema produced it and third, the tweets of the celebrities regarding the movie saying that it is a must watch movie.. I was hoping it will be like Kimmy Dora, but I ended up disappointed..

@BaekOnYu yeah it's alright, no arguments too. but i just want to clear a few things. star cinema didn't produce the film, they just distributed it. it means they have no participation on the creation of the movie. it's like they are just retailers who bought products from a manufacturer. and about the stars tweeting that it is good: since when did you hear them say something bad against a movie?! i believe it is a campaign whatsoever bcoz it's co-industry stuff.

@BaekOnYu Not all films need to be like Kimidora to be funny. There are different brands of humor. The movie is a satire of indie film making. If you don't care about the how indie films are made nowadays especially about poverty porn, then it is understandable that you wont find this movie funny.

@netligence oo nga. I respect indie films. but indie films, for me, are not the type of movies that I would go to a cinema for. I mean, for example, one day, I'm very stressed out, and I want something to lighten up my day. I won't watch indie films, coz, indie films are deep, and dark. that's why I don't watch it while I'm having a bad day. I would watch these films when in mood.
but I COMPLETELY agree, indie films are precious, and is a reflection of the reality of every Filipino's life. :D
