Actually all the cod games have an smg as the most powerfull gun, and they are all slow firing high damage weapons, cod4: mp5 Waw; MP40. MW2: ump 45. Black ops: AK74U(well actually the ak74 is an assault rifle but it is mis classed in all cods)

@TheTavion44 Well at low levels I'd say m16 or mp5k. But when you get the famas definatly use it, you unlock it at a pretty low level. The best guns in the game are the Famas, G11, stoner 63 and my favourite is the Mac 11 with rapid fire, it's a beast at all ranges If you know how to use it
