WHY wasn't this a hit in the US? It sounds like it would now be a classic, well known song from the late 90's that would be played on alternative radio all the time. If it had been promoted right or attached to some dark movie it would have been huge.

The female singer, was Kelli her name?, couldn't sing live... I saw a video of 6 underground live and she couldn't barely breathe. This guy's a bit better.

Chris' voice is so heartfelt and beautiful it puts Kelli to shame. Up until fairly recently, I hadn't heard Sneaker Pimps with Chris's vocals. But, after hearing Low Five for the first time a few weeks ago and recently buying the Splinter album, I prefer Chris (and it doesn't hurt that he's completely adorable).

Well Chris, it was worth it.

If you only knew how good that album was, you'd never run off and create the person you are today.

IAMX is just an act, and I think it's just fine, especially considering how the Pimps are still together. The unreleased demos for albums 4 and 5 are pretty good, but the first two IAMX albums are quite a bit better.

i like the songs with Kelli in them, but i think the continuation of Chris as the singer was a good move, i know some people prefer Kelli's sound but personally i prefer Chris's, plus he can actually sing live. I mean, Six Underground and Spin Spin Sugar sound great with Kelli's voice , but I love SP with Chris, and I don't think she could of sung the songs he sung better than him, because their sound adopted his voice, persona and feel.

I fell in love with this song when I heard it for the first time at a pretty dark place in New York. Not musically dark, real life dark, real life trip-hop. The song hit me deeply, stopped me, and I had to find out who the authors were. I love the CD splinter. I like Chris much better than Kelli. What's going on these days with such a talented band?

Chris (the singer/musician) has gone on to a solo project, look up iamx and you'll find it. His work is good, but imo not as good as splinter and bloodsport, the sneaker pimps albums with him as the frontman. Last I heard the sneaker pimps plan on putting another album together with another (new) female singer. Bad idea imo, because chris is an amazing vocalist. But we'll see. So thats what going on with them.

I don't see IAMX as better or worse than the Pimps, its just a lot different. More of a straightforward electronic feel to it. I like it a lot. My question is, with SP getting a new female vocalist and all, is Chris still in the band?
