SLipknot is just angry. Corey has two bands and writes two diffrent style of songs for each band for a fucking reason dude. Do research before you slander a damn good band.

For all of you who never realized this, Slipknot was NEVER hardcore or cool. We're talking about the band who dresses up in masks and dances around a stage and pounds on beer kegs right? Ohhhh if only they were still that cool! lol. They were always lame. I like their music though. I would like to see an interview where they are stuck up. Kissing the ass of your fans is not being real. A lot of them are not truly happy about being in Slipknot. To a point, they are, they feel it's natural now. But they've been doing it for a while, and a certain pace, that they feel they can't keep up. They always said that they'll always be Slipknot, but in their own way. And if they stop enjoying it, that's it.
I recall a revolver interview last year around the middle of the tour where Crahan was complaining about more kids going to the concerts and not enough true maggots. I don't own mag so I can't exactly quote. I read one paragraph, that was enough for me to just be disgusted in the interview/article. I don't want them to kiss my ass or be the same angry Slipknot. I just want the band to be respectful of the fact that have people paying for their music. They DO NOT need to wait years at a time TBC.

If not, it makes me wonder why Corey always takes some time out to associate the audience with the platinums and other related awards and accomplishments.

It's honestly true. That's why I got a tattoo. I feel it's a little more... dedication than just a t-shirt. And one that's typically visible. I feel strongly about Slipknot. A lot of my current friends think it's a little immature of me, but honestly, if someone felt like God saved their life, they wouldn't think it was weird. So what's the difference? Chris Fehn and Corey Taylor have helped me put down the bottle of pain killers and continue living a good life.

I've been going on a rant lately about music being bad and how it doesn't help people with their problems and it frustrates me that music such as Slipknots, which is so inspirational, is being ignored and all this pop bull shit about drugs, sex, money, and alcohol is all over the radio when it doesn't deserve the popularity. It's good to hear someone understands it. I've tried using the interview that saved my life one night, to help people, but they don't understand it like I do.
It was the interview with Chris Fehn on the Voliminal 2nd disc. I remember looking at a bottle full of pills, top off, and he is asked how he feels about people talking shit on Slipknot. He said "I don't give them that.... power" and me, being the person who hates not having control, found logic and threw the pill bottle across the room and decided I wasn't going to disgrace them, and myself, by pussying out of life and letting others control me.
i in all honesty do plan on eventually gettin a Slipknot tat, because I still consider them to be an important part of my life. I think they are still an important part of musical history.

I must agree. He has said in an interview that he has lyrics written already, but it doesn't fit Stone Sour or Slipknot. Looks like he's going solo pretty soon.

@aaroncoal28 you're a faggot. why would you watch this if you are just going to bash it. everybody has a soft side, even slipknot, whether they like to admit it or not. corey is going through a very hard time in his life right now and he chose to write a song that expresses his feelings. and feelings aren't always expressed in screaming and heavy riffs. if you don't like the shit, then don't bother ever even looking into or listening to it.

not at all, 30 Seconds to Mars is also thinking about doing a short film for one of their songs off their new album (which is fucking amazing I highly recommend you getting it, the lyrics are mind blowing, the message is fantastic, the album is just great all around) I think that making a short film for songs is a really cool idea. Why don't you?

30 seconds to mars is a great band. i didnt know jared leto put out a new album though. i'll check it out. short films are ok, just i think a music video already says enough in my opinion. they already have three or four documentary/behind the scenes dvds out anyways. slipknot just aren't what they used to be.

I thought I mean't it...I still like Slipknot, but the way they take their sweet time with releases, and the way certain members act just so utterly stuck up in interviews. I've got to say I'm very upset with the overall way they conducxt themselves. I'm sorry this band has changed, in ways that make very undesirable to listen to. I mean, you have to PAY to be a part outsidethenine or whatever that fan club is called. What is wrong with picture??? I'm glad I'm not blindly following anymore.

I would like to see an interview where they are stuck up. Kissing the ass of your fans is not being real. A lot of them are not truly happy about being in Slipknot. To a point, they are, they feel it's natural now. But they've been doing it for a while, and a certain pace, that they feel they can't keep up. They always said that they'll always be Slipknot, but in their own way. And if they stop enjoying it, that's it.

I recall a revolver interview last year around the middle of the tour where Crahan was complaining about more kids going to the concerts and not enough true maggots. I don't own mag so I can't exactly quote. I read one paragraph, that was enough for me to just be disgusted in the interview/article. I don't want them to kiss my ass or be the same angry Slipknot. I just want the band to be respectful of the fact that have people paying for their music. They DO NOT need to wait years at a time TBC.

Well, I have a feeling that he's pissed that there are more kids who are there that don't have a true respect for what Slipknot is. They've always been respectful for people paying for their music. If not, it makes me wonder why Corey always takes some time out to associate the audience with the platinums and other related awards and accomplishments.

It's honestly true. That's why I got a tattoo. I feel it's a little more... dedication than just a t-shirt. And one that's typically visible. I feel strongly about Slipknot. A lot of my current friends think it's a little immature of me, but honestly, if someone felt like God saved their life, they wouldn't think it was weird. So what's the difference? Chris Fehn and Corey Taylor have helped me put down the bottle of pain killers and continue living a good life.

You're not weird, you're perfectly normal, I would do the exact same thing in your position. I've been going on a rant lately about music being bad and how it doesn't help people with their problems and it frustrates me that music such as Slipknots, which is so inspirational, is being ignored and all this pop bull shit about drugs, sex, money, and alcohol is all over the radio when it doesn't deserve the popularity. Stay living you make me happier knowing my favorite band saved your life =)

It was the interview with Chris Fehn on the Voliminal 2nd disc. I remember looking at a bottle full of pills, top off, and he is asked how he feels about people talking shit on Slipknot. He said "I don't give them that.... power" and me, being the person who hates not having control, found logic and threw the pill bottle across the room and decided I wasn't going to disgrace them, and myself, by pussying out of life and letting others control me.
