if sonics in a car, so what!! the way i see it, everyone felt like driving cars and bikes!! lol!! back to sonic heroes, when it comes to get the chaos emeralds on the first 4 special stages i just hold the boost button down and collect orbs, i get an emerald in less the 10 secs but for the other 3 i need to be a bit more tactical.

I despise the main Sonic fanbase. I have two reasons for Sonic being in a car(other than the one you gave):

Reason 1: Maybe the cars are even faster than he is.

This game is pretty cool. It was worth what I paid for it, considering I paid 5 bucks for my PC copy. I haven't gotten all of the Emblems on my file either, and my complete file is gone because my old computer died.

Also, I noticed that you were playing the Special Stage using the less effective method for boosting. I thought for the longest time that you had to push "boost" repeatedly too, but it turns out that if you HOLD DOWN the boost button, they'll speed up a lot more.

LOL For the longest time I was SO frustrated because I couldn't seem to catch the emeralds! After I found out about holding "boost," it became a piece of cake! :)

Hey Sonikdude, I think you're a tad bit off about something. See, I've played Sonic Heroes thoroughly--final story, all emblems, etc--and at first I thought I'd have to get all the emeralds with all the teams too. But then I noticed that after getting the emerald with one team, the emerald symbol appears beneath ALL the teams, so you don't have to collect each of the emeralds more than once.

No, you don't have to collect the Chaos Emeralds from all 4 teams. I collected all of them with Team Rose, and I did the Final story.

Actually, yea. Kart racers with franchise characters are pretty much rip offs and I'll love for you to name an example that's wrong. A ripoff doesn't mean a clone though, just the same basic format. Diddy Kong Racing, the Crash racers, Pac Man World Rally, and soon to be Sonic racing.
