This hurts a lot for most people, most of the time due to our poor posture as a whole. This leads to the internal rotion of the humerus, a rounded shoulder position, and tightness is the lats, pec major and minor.
In short, if it hurts, you're probably doing it right!
If you aren't able to keep your hip up, that's ok, as you gain the strength for that, you can progress this exercise fpr an even deep stretch.
This hurts like crazy! It hurt so much I thought I was doing it wrong. Hard to keep my hips up off the floor too.
