I've got an E8400 @ 4GHz, 4GB OCZ 1066, and GTX 260 Core 216 and I can't notice any differentiation in graphics comparing your's to mine. I run @ 1440x900 but I've got an 40" LG 720p LCD and I've run the same @ 1080p it does look a little nicer.

GRID's not too graphically demanding as far as gaming is concerned. You've got some nice benchmarks sir and a nicer GPU, nonetheless. :)

You know, you can adjust FRAPS' recording FPS, right? I have mine set @ 30FPS because youtube bumps most video down to 24 anyways, and I edit in Adobe @ 1080P (your native resolution), when it's all said and done I export in 720P because my upstream bandwidth isn't so hot.

Yea I also use the 360 controller, I've got the wireless receiver for PC too that MS stopped producing. Looking forward to seeing some new footage sir, keep up the good work.

@cygmarx I kinda sorta have the same setup as you in that i to have a 40" LCD Panel hooked up to my GTX 275 OC Ed. The panel's native resolution is 1920X1080 and when i run a game at anything below the 1080P resolution, the image looks very jagged and not even close to as clear. There absolutely is a HUGE difference in image quality and clarity between 1920X1080 and 1024X768 especially on a 40" LCD. Im also running a 32" Sony XBR 1080P LCD. Both LCD's run at 120HZ.

Yeah this gam.e is awesome with an xbox controller played it 24hours and then some if your got not much money get the 4870 they are cheap. But nowhere near as good as GTX295. This game looks as real as its gonna get in gameplay. It is wicked.

i think the 4870 1 gig is faster than the 260 GTX.. so get the 4870 :) also, if you are willing to spend a little extra you might want to go for the 4890

512 mb version of 4870 is not good than 896mb GTX 260..

when you choose your compression method, you have to add 'resize' filter and, choose ratio and resolution and it'll make perfect 720p video

Yeah. Some game engines today are optimized very well to run on the mediocre or low setups available. Namely the Source Engine, COD4 Engine and the GRID engine. When I first picked up GRID I was still using a GF7800. Ran good on a medium resolution and medium settings, compared to the hardware that was considered mid-level at that time(8800GT/3870)

ya deejay, games are alot more smarter than you think, it will register the controller as (depending wetha u has the usb or wireless one) "USB Controller Device [360] Controller" this then reconises as the 360 controller and changes the interface to match it :)

If you have Xfire I found its easier to record, and you can record a video at 100 frames per second.

should give it a try, and then you can just upload the videos from the videos folder they are in to you tube or your movie making program.
