I've been listening to new order for 27 years and have NEVER heard this version before...wow...is this just someone effing around in their bedroom or was this released?
used to love this version.....have got it on an old audio tape......now its even better listening to it after 20 years plus......where the fk have the years gone...
Seriously..... what the hell is a brodie!? Sounds like some chump's name that was on the football team at my High School back in the late 90's. ha........brodie....... crazy kids and there non-sense terminology.
I absolutely LOVE that 80s cowbell, which starts right at the beginning of the song, and then throughout the song here and there... the claps as well... both *very* popular percussion of that era!!!!
Aaah bollocks. Never mind . Youtube has only recently upgraded it's player , and now started playing these videos automatically in stereo ( and not all of em either).
A year ago when this was done all music was in mono. The link was supposed to come back to this page but with a stereo link but obviously I cut and pasted the wrong link.
I love the section from 2:52 to 3:20 - I've been looking for that section for a long time - I had it on Vinyl but have not been able to find a mix with this... (with the yello "oh yeah", this is not the mix I had, but close...)
The Future Mix part is credited by DJ Sonic & DJ Vlad, from UK. Future Mix was a Remix Service with only 9 issues (93-94), all remixes by that two remixers.

Interesting addition of a bass line. I did the original Discotech mix. Do you know who did this "future mix"?

Are you Roy McLeod?
