@MrPrincessViKi She wasn't correct at actually. Kaito and Meiko are getting upgraded to V2 (they are V1) and that's what the appends are. They are the upgrades of the vocaloids voice. Miku and the Kagamines are being upgraded to V3's because they are currently V2's

About Miku, Gackpoid, Luka, Meiko, and Kaito having vocaloid3 voicebanks, Miku was not even THOUGHT of have a new voicebank, Gakupo will have a remake/maybe append. Luka has an append in the works, same with meiko and kaito. Since YAMAHA is not supporting vocaloid1 anymore, it is unlikely for them to be upgraded.

The voice also sucks because it's just like Miku's. Ok, the voice I can let slide because some vocaloids do have like voices. Ring's voice is different than Miku's, but it's still high pitched. @Aunpaidintern Actually aside from the long heair, she's really not like Miku. If you look at the original artist renditions for both, you can see that Mku has a nice, rich teal-colored head of hair while Ring has a very pale, almost white, powder blue head of hair. In fact only the shading is blue, the rest of the hair is white.

As for the voice, I understand. But in my opinion it sounds like a cross between Rin and Miku.
