I have that app for my Ipod touch:P Its cool but i have to admit it is a little laggy.. sometimes you have to push the bead like 3 times before you can move it.

There is just something ultimately cool about using the worlds oldest computer on the world's newest computer.

By the way, for those of you who don't already know this kind of abacus is called a soroban which is the Japanese version of the Chinese abacus. It has one bead on top and four on the bottom as opposed to the Chinese which has two on the top and 5 on the bottom.
